Awesome place
My boys and I needed to get out of the city for a bit. We stayed at this perfect little cabin in the woods and recharged our batteries. The trail behind the cabin is really cool. Saw a couple of deer while walking to the lake. Loved the serenity, the beauty and the solitude. The cabin has everything you need. It’s a perfect jumping off point to visit Natchez and Vicksburg or Homochitto National Forest. We have a lot of family history in the area and it was great to show my boys where their Pawpaw comes from. Highly recommend!

We just had the pleasure of staying at this precious cabin. By far, the best VRBO experience we’ve ever had. The pictures do not give justice to how amazing the local views are in real time. I cannot think of one negative thing about the stay overall. The property was very clean, warm and welcoming. The owner has provided everything we could possibly require. There were even welcome goodies and instruction cards for everything. We felt so welcome and can’t wait to visit again!

What an amazing retreat in the woods! If you enjoy mother nature and all her splendor, you'll be captivated by Whitetail Cabin If you have the opportunity to stay even 1 night, Do so! You'll be so very glad you did. The amazing part about this is what they've done to help you simply kick back, legs up, or trail walk. Sit on the porch [something I've missed since I moved away nearly 10 yrs ago] and just soak in everything in God's country! Inside the cabin is furnished smells of lovely fresh wood, making you feel like your staying in a cabin in the woods! You are, don't think you need to be in any mountainous area's to solidify that fact. You're surrounded 360° by large pine, birds are chirping from every direction, you can hear the breezes as they pass through the tops of the trees, giving way to the sounds of katydids at night. The bathroom beautifully designed with an X-large bathtub for soaking in, if you so choose, but please take note, to all those who arent familiar with *well water* don't be alarmed by the color, its normal. The tile done in the bathroom perfectly selected in not only choice but color choice too, aiding to control the sound barrier in this quaint space! The 1 bedroom has 2 beds that were comfortable for 2 of the men folk, as my son and I slept in the livingroom area, and that was just as comfortable if not more than the beds for us, lol Hands down if you can stay here do so! Their hospitality is barnone, My dad's asking to go back it was special 4 him!

Peace and Quiet in the woods!
Very clean tiny home with comfortable furnishings; perfect to escape for a peaceful weekend. There are no big stores or restaurants for many miles, so be prepared to cook. We cooked on the grill provided and had a relaxing evening under the stars enjoying the sounds of the woods. Great experience!

Peace & Quiet
It was a nice place with good hosts. They checked in on us when we arrived and left us to enjoy. The corner store didn't have very much of a selection so bring what you need. The place was clean and had everything needed. There was a trail in the woods the kids enjoyed. Miss Karen brought us a fire pit ring(thanks 👍). All in all it was just what we were looking for.
