"So amazingly beautiful, the photos don't do it justice. We sat on the patio. just soaking up the sounds and sights of the forest and a couples of times, we were lucky enough to be out there for monkey playtime in the trees across the road. House was clean and comfortable. Bathroom is small, but the shower was excellent: great water pressure and perfect water temperature. We walked to the beach and went into the ocean every day, too. Owner was super friendly, and had great restaurant recommendations. He was also able to answer questions about other local activities. The town has great restaurants and shops. Overall, this was the best vacation we've ever had. We will back, for sure. :)"

"Beautiful jungle atmosphere. Wildlife animals observed on the property. Great drinks at the bar. Breakfast buffet and dinner was delicious. Walking distance to the beach and other restaurants. The family cabin had a wonderful patio and hammocks. I would’ve preferred adults only. It was almost impossible to be in the swimming area near the wet bar with so many kids present. Most of the vendors on the beach only accepted colones. I would suggest you get money exchanged from the airport or the national bank in Costa Rica ATM does colones. Tips are accepted for room service and meals. Laundry was outstanding! We received our laundry same day service. "

"Great boutique hotel, walking distance to all the amenities Puerto Viejo has to offer. We had a bungalow with our own pool which was fabulous. Service was excellent, as was breakfast which was included. My only complaint...two cappuccinos cost $18 CAD...ridiculous..."
