Thank you for making my first visit to Cairns safe and comfortable. Sam and Irene were very gracious hosts, assisting with early check-in and early check-out, directions and recommendations. Quaint, old school charm. The location is ideal and walking distance to everything, from the esplanade and CBD, to the marina and Central Station. Tour pick ups were conveniently located at the hotel or the Novotel 2 blocks away. I never felt unsafe walking to/from rhe hotel, no matter the hour. The room was spacious and comfortable, albeit, no lift, so you'll have to carry your bags. The kitchen was well appointed and the washer and dryer were a blessing.The pool is tranquil for an evenings swim after a long day, although the flying foxes were quite the surprise at dusk. If I do return to Cairns, I will likely book again.

It was a great place as far as position. Some maintenance is needed. Out sliding door handle was broken and I meant to tell them that the shower was a little slippery to get into. A little concern as I had an elderly friend stay with me and we both thought that.

My stay at Cascade Gardens was a little disappointing. The location looks good on paper, since it is just 15-20 minutes by walking from the Esplanade and the Marina, but if you go in the opposite direction, just walking around the area does not feel safe at all, especially at night. Communication with the property is a little slow, sometimes taking around a day to get an answer and I didn't even get a response to my question on how to check out at early hours. The rooms are spacious and the bed is comfortable, but the cleanliness is a clear issue in the property. For example, the carpet on the floor had hundreds of hairs from other people, at least that I could extract...

An excellent place to stay only 2 streets back from the boardwalk and an easy walk into all of the shops and dining areas. Nice rooms not luxurious but more than adequate for a holiday. Great pool BBQ area. Would definitely stay there again.

This property has a dog and a cat guardians, and they are so friendly. Good size of BBQ facility. We could walk to shops close by. Bus spots are close too. Very convenient location. We did enjoy staying Cascade Garden, and will stay again!! Thank you.
