The gentleman that checked me in was very friendly and had excellent customer relations. I was not able to get the TV to turn on. Bed is very soft… I prefer a medium to firm bed. Temperature outside was about -13, snowfall warning, that is why I decided to stay rather than drive home. Heater ran all night and was noisy. Then I could still feel cool air in the room. So obviously poor insulation and an older building. For the price a respectable property.

Comfortable and reasonable value
Bed was comfortable and room was basic and decent for the cost. We were told there would be glass glasses/cups but there wasn’t any. Otherwise, the room served its purpose. Also conveniently located.

Centro Motel was clean, affordable with very friendly staff and a fairly central location in Calgary. Also close drive to the number 1 highway incase you’re interested in taking a short drive over to Banff. Would recommend!

Was the nicest ‘economy’ motel room I’ve ever stayed in. Room was clean, nice fixtures that all worked. Could have a microwave (didn’t need), some of the floor tiles were cracked and was susceptible to noise and vibration from the neighbours, but none of these were a big deal.
