The swimming pool is terrible, if it is under construction it should not be open to the public, the wooden wall on the other side of the pool is not convenient to see as water splash goes to it. The management should make a complete repair before opening it to the public very disgusting

We thought we had picked out the perfect hotel where we could return a number of times to Calgary for medical needs of my child. It was clean, food was excellent and the kitchen staff were friendly. The room was clean as well as the dining area. This would have been a five star review. Unfortunately, on the day of checkout I turned my tv on for the first time, which, upon turning it on had damage on the interior panel. This would be easily missed as the screen appareared intact when turned off. I notified staff immediately. Upon telling the gentleman working the desk his immediate response was “I don’t believe you as we had been there for a few days”. I was charged a $1000 damage deposit immediately. They further stated that my children likely broke the television “probably last night”, which was not the case. They were told me “we would never provide you a broken tv” and to take the tv with you. The way that this hotel operates speaks for itself. You could have a very positive experience or end up in a situation where staff will not listen to the truth if there is an issue. Damage deposits and reality are two different things! If you escalate a complaint it will fall back at the hotel level. I am still waiting for this hotel to show their level of commitment to values of the Hilton brand. The core values of the Hilton brand are important to me as a guest, especially: Integrity – We do the right thing, all the time.

The location is very convenient to go to the stadium area. Public transportation was easy to get, train is only five minutes walk. Building is ok but the room was a little smelly. Breakfast was good enough as any included meal in any hotel.
