They charged me again for the room I already paid thru Expedia at a higher rate. And they did it 3x!! What I don't get is, they reversed the first 2 charges on the same day, but the 3rd charge took a week to be reversed. Not good.

This is a sham hotel
This is a terrible hotel. Everything about it is horrible. I cannot say anything good about this. The most horrible part of the hotel is their breakfast. Its a sham. They only offered bread, half muffins and coffee. There's no eggs, bacon or tea. They also don't have microwave. You'd have to go to the reception to go warm your food in the full glare of everybody/

Affordable rooms and 24/7 front desk which is convenient for very late check in due to flight changes. The room was already heated before I checked in, so that was great and the bed is super comfy. Its much appreciated after a long flight and all the traveling, you can just relax.

Hotel Review: Super 8 by Wyndham, Calgary (December 27–28, 2024) I recently stayed at the Super 8 by Wyndham in Calgary with my family for one night during our holiday trip. Here’s my experience: Positives: - Friendly Staff: The staff were very welcoming and attentive. Check-in was smooth, and they were helpful throughout our stay. - Cleanliness: The rooms and common areas were well-maintained and clean, which is always a priority for us when traveling. - Ample Parking: The parking area was spacious and well-organized, making it easy to park our car without any hassle. Areas for Improvement: - Aging Property: While the hotel was clean, the condition of the property showed its age. The decor and furnishings could use an update to make the space more inviting and modern. - Noise Issues: Our room was on the lower floor, and we could hear footsteps from the room above us quite clearly. This disrupted our sleep and could be an issue for light sleepers. - Breakfast: The breakfast was a disappointment. The options were extremely limited, which left us wanting more variety and quality. Overall, this hotel met basic needs for a short stay, but there’s definitely room for improvement, especially in terms of soundproofing and enhancing the breakfast experience. It’s a decent choice for budget-conscious travelers, but I’d consider other options for a longer or more relaxing stay. Rating: 3/5

I stayed at this hotel during my visit to Calgary, and it was an average experience. Honestly, it’s what you’d expect from one of the cheapest options in the city. The room was okay—clean enough, but nothing special. If you’re hoping for a great breakfast, you might want to look elsewhere. The “continental breakfast” was very basic: just muffins, bread, butter, jam, water, juice, and coffee. That’s it. No hot options or variety, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, if you’re just looking for a budget place to crash for the night, this might work for you. But if you’re expecting more amenities or a fulfilling breakfast, you might want to consider other options.
