The unit is a 2 bedroom Carriage Suite, which means it has been built a top a detached 3 car garage. The main garage level has been split into 2 separate spaces, allowing for a private single car garage and Carriage Suite access for our guests.
The unit is best accessed primarily from the back alley, and a gate has been installed to enclose the lower level space and allow for maximum privacy. The lower gate opens easily to allow guests to pass along side to the front of the home should they require, such as for meeting a taxi or an Uber.
You may occasionally hear us come and go through our portion of the garage, but rest assured you won't see us or be seen unless you need us for any reason. Sound and vibration mediating equipment has been installed to mitigate the majority of the sound created by the garage equipment or overhead doors and allow for as much peace and quiet as possible.
Ample exterior lighting has been installed to run on timers so you can feel safe and secure any time you come and go.
Garage unlock code is ####-enter
It will open up the big over head door in the alley and you can park in the garage. It's a tight turn, so take it wide or back in :)
The man-doors to the garage and suite have a key pad, your code works on all the man doors so all guests do not need the key. Should you forget your code, the key acts as a backup!

Winston Heights-Mountview is a low-density residential community located along the west escarpment of the Nose Creek Valley.
Winston Heights-Mountview has good access to the downtown, via Edmonton Trail. Most of this area was built in the 1950s around an existing core of older war-time homes.
Winston Heights-Mountview residents enjoy close proximity to Nose Creek Park, The Winston Golf Club and the pathway system.
Downtown and Calgary's Sports and Entertainment hubs are a short drive, or a $10-$15 Uber away. In summer months, scooters can be found in the surrounding neighborhood or have a range to bring you home.
16th Avenue (Hwy #1 East/West) is 1 minute south.
Deerfoot Trail (Ab Hwy #2 North/South) is 6 minutes east.
The Co-op grocery store is a 5 minute walk south and the 7-11 convenience store is 2 blocks away.
Several restaurants and take out are within a few minutes, as well as 3 neighborhood pubs.
The Wi-Fi is shared by the primary residence and the Carriage Suite.

We have provided complimentary Netflix and Amazon Prime access. If you wish to rent any pay per view items through any included subscription accounts, please let us know and we would be happy to accept an e-transfer payment for any rentals.
Heating and Cooling
Heating and cooling are pre-set for your comfort, heating will maintain 21°C (69.8°F) and cooling will maintain 23°C (73.4°F) at all times. Residents can adjust heating cooler in winter months, and can adjust cooling warmer in summer months; Please do so in summer if you are opening windows on a warm day
For long stay guests, or to increase comfort, this state of the art system can be programmed for different daytime and nighttime settings or can be overridden by the Host should these temperatures be uncomfortable.

Deliveries - Amazon/ Skip the Dishes
Many guests have ordered package or food deliveries to the unit, you can simply provide them the address of 464 21st Avenue N.E., and indicate the package or food should be delivered to the Carriage Suite via the east gravel path, through the gate, up the stairs.
Your hosts can accept and retain packages for you as desired (if home)
Emergency Egress
In an emergency, you are permitted to leave the unit through the gate at the bottom of the stairs. Your path is straight through the gate, along the gravel path to the avenue.
