Adding to the charm of our main house, Lennox and Lewis, our new Little Lewis hamptons-style cottage is well situated in the beautiful Callala Beach. Only moments away from white sanded and crystal clear blue waters, snorkelling and outdoor activities, Little Lewis offers more than meets the eye.

Upon first glance, you’ll be delighted by an open-plan living, dining and french provincial style kitchen decked out with the latest appliances. Plus, sweeten the deal by swinging open the french doors in the main bedroom to the private courtyard for that truly french and luxurious experience. Accommodating up to four adults comfortably, you’ll truly feel on holidays while staying at Little Lewis despite being only 2.5 hours outside of Sydney.

A sight for sore eyes, Little Lewis is your perfect blend of beach house retreat and romantic cottage getaway which is why we’d recommend this home for newlyweds, honeymooners, anniversaries, romantic getaways or intimate catch ups and the like.

Why Callala Beach?

Often mistaken as ‘Koala Beach’, Callala Beach is quite simply a treasure in Jervis Bay. Unspoilt and beautifully calm, the beach sprawls 5.6 km long with views of Huskisson shoreline not too far out of sight. In fact, you can easily board a short ferry to Huskisson from neighbouring suburb Myola.

Whether you’re a water-baby and plan on spending your time in the crystal clear beach, or trying your hand angling for the best that Jervis Bay has to offer, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the occasional dolphin show.

In true holiday style, if cooking is off the agenda, be sure to frequent the local RSL for a hearty feed or jump in the car for a 15 minute drive to Greenwell Point where the oysters and prawn farms await you.

If you’re looking for another excuse to visit the area, why not plan a trip or two to neighbouring beaches such as Culburra, Currarong, Hyams, Vincentia, Greenpatch, Long Beach and Honeymoon Bay - no more than 30 minute drive from the house.

Owner’s notes:

We love our furry mates just as much as you do, and property is pet friendly.

Having too many friends can be a serious problem when it comes to sleeping arrangements. We also have our Lennox and Lewis available for booking. There is just enough distance between our two homes to block out any of the loud sleepers!

3. This property is fully self contained and is not a serviced property. You will need to bring all toiletry items and supply your own washing powder, dish detergent, toilet paper and food.

4. Linen, sheets and bath towels are provided complimentary.

5. We like our neighbours. Little Lewis is a No Schoolies, Bucks or Hens party house.

6. A bond is required before bookings are accepted in the amount of $250. Fully refundable upon inspection of property.

Fantastic getaway
It was so relaxing and I loved that the dog beach is in walking distance from little Lewis and it’s an on leash dog beach. The beach was beautiful and the accommodation was perfect. The accommodation had everything we needed to make it an enjoyable stay. New coffee mugs, plates and water glasses could be replaced but all in all we had a fantastic time.

Beautiful 2-bed right next to the best beach!
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Gorgeous location. House is the size of a granny with a second level on top. Brand new, high quality kitchen appliances and well stocked cupboards, big tv, nice rain shower. No AC but they do have ceiling fans and the house is very well insulated from heat. Thanks for having us!

I enjoyed staying for 2nights with my little girls. It was so convenient location. However we couldn't use kitchen utilities due most of cookware was too old and shabby to cook for my little ones:( Also there were quite high odorous of smoking:(( Except these,,, everythings was fine!!!! Husky Tri Stay
Booked here with my wife and 8 year old daughter for a long weekend as was participating in the Husky Triathlon. Location is excellent with the magic Callala Beach a 1 min walk away, check in super easy and the place was perfect. Highly recommend and could have easily stayed a lot longer!

Beautiful little cottage close to beach
My husband and I stayed at Little Lewis with our dachshund. The property was lovely and had quality fittings and appliances. The third photo gave us the impression the front grass area was gated and there was off street parking - the only available parking is on the street. The back of the house is fully enclosed for a pet however there is no grass out there. The grass area at the front is open to the street so we had to tether our dog each time to take her to the toilet. There was also no heater at the property apart from the fireplace. Overall we had a great time and the house is beautiful in a fantastic location - very close proximity to the beach.

Great Holiday Stay
Very lovely small house, 100 meters from a beautiful beach. Pet friendly, and our dog had such a wonderful time. The beach of off-leash in the early morning and late afternoon, and our dog was knackered at the end of every day! The house is very modern, clean and comfortable. The beds are a bit smaller than what we're used to for a couple, but there is a 2nd bedroom. The outdoor shower is perfect for washing off the beach sand before going inside. Fully modern kitchen and outdoor grill was great. As advertised, there's not a lot of food choices nearby, but there is a nice IGA and as long as you are OK with doing a bit of cooking, it's a super experience!

We had a lovely stay at Troy and Vanessa’s place. The place was dog friendly and a few minutes walk from Callala beach. Our dog loved his morning walks at the beach! Definitely recommend staying at this accommodation if you are travelling with you dog.

Our yearly getaway destination
This property has everything we need. It’s modern and comfortable plus being able to bring our dog is incredible. Plus it’s a 2min walk to the most amazing long beach with off leach dog zones. The area is SUPER quiet and it’s only a 5min drive to a small IGA, take away pizza and Chinese restaurant. Plus the owners make the check in process super easy. We have already re-booked for next year.
