Upon arrival we found that the hotel had problems with the water service. We were offered to stay at the Santa Maria Hotel and the receptionist took us there in person and help us with the checking process. Excellent service and beautiful hotel.

Hotel geschlossen
Leider konnten wir nicht im "Sevillana" übernachten. Im Hotel angekommen, erklärte man uns, das Hotel sei wegen Problemen mit der Elektrizität geschlossen. Man habe stattdessen ein Zimmer im Hotel "Santa Maria". hotels.com war zur Ankunftszeit telefonisch nicht mehr zu erreichen, so dass wir keine Alternative hatten. Dass es Probleme mit der Elektrizität gab, konnte übrigens niemand bestätigen ... Im "Santa Maria" war es Tag und Nacht laut. Die Fenster schlossen nicht richtig, so dass man immer den Straßenlärm und die Glocken von der Kirche daneben hörte. Das Frühstück war miserabel. So haben wir uns den Aufenthalt in Camagüey nicht vorgestellt!

Zentrales Hotel mit ruhigen Hinterhof
Das Hotel macht einen ordentlichen und sauberen Eindruck. Das Frühstück könnte etwas üppiger sein. Dafür ist man direkt in der Innenstadt. Wir hatten ein Fenster zur Straße, was allerdings nicht sehr schalldicht war.
