If this home was for sale, I would buy it. Small but sufficient for a family or 3 couples. We were looking for seclusion, crabbing, beach for our two German Shorthaired Pointers, pool and a safe place with room for our dogs to run off leash. The entire perimeter is tree lined for privacy, the small beach was perfect to walk in and out of the water. Made it easy to use the kayaks and paddle boards. Nice sandy bottom, not mud. Crab pots were on the dock ready for bait upon arrival. Pool was clean, grass was cut, propane was available as well as firewood for fire pit. Deck is gated which helped contain the dogs when necessary.
Only drawbacks to this home (IMO) were the excessive amount of cameras... driveway, front door, side door, back yard, pool area and deck. Felt like we were being watched constantly. I understand the necessary security, but was too much. The lack of curtains or blinds in the common areas was unsettling at night. I like to close up the house at night especially when in a rental. We rent through VRBO quite a bit and we prefer homes that are strictly rentals. They dont feel like you’re in someones personal home. This home is not that. Pots are thrown in the cabinets, glasses were old, someones dog bed under the bed in Master, a lot of personal items.
All in all, a great property. We spent all day outside in the water, pool and crabbing on the dock. Didn't see another person for 3 days except the the boaters that went by. Had a nice 3 day weekend.
