Old Kinderhook Creekside Golf Cottage #14

This one bedroom, one bath creekside golf cottage sleeps 5. It is located next to the 16th tee box and is conveniently adjacent to the Old Kinderhook tennis courts, swimming pool and fitness center for your use.

Our golf cottage boasts a large master bedroom with a split king sized bed. The bathroom has double sinks, a walk in shower and toiletries for your use. There is a full kitchen and large gas grill if you feel like cooking/grilling. The living room has a pull out sofa bed that sleeps 2 more. A twin XL rollaway adds a fifth sleeping option. Both the bedroom and living room have LED flat screened tv's and free wifi.

Enjoy 18 holes at the Tom Weiskopf designed championship golf course (ranked number 2 in Missouri). Fish from the Old Kinderhook Marina, catch some crappie and grill them on your cottage propane grill. Or, skip the grilling and enjoy fine dining at The Trophy Room, located a short walk from the cottage. See the stars at night while using our fire pit and flagstone patio.

If your group is larger, consider renting our adjacent cottage 13, mere steps from this property. Share the adjoining backyard amenities while having your own private space.

Great experience
We stayed here for a long weekend during our sons golf tournament, the cabin was so cute and cozy! Plenty of room for our family of four and great view of the course! Had everything we needed, would stay here again.

Water main breakage - fully flooded
When I came back from golfing, a water main had broken - there was over 1” of water throughout the condo - I had clothes on the floor. I was also concerned with potential electrocution. The owner was responsive when I called him - he indicated this had happened in the past. The unit was completely unstayable, and I was promised a full refund - I hope they are able to get to the source of that problem and get it resolved so other guests do not experience the same things.

Great Place!
I booked this place as my daughter had a softball tournament close to the area. We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean. The kitchen was a huge plus as it allowed me to cook most of our meals. The bed was comfortable. Shower had great water pressure. This place also had 2 areas (front and back) with seating to hangout. My daughter and I also enjoyed the tennis court across the cabin. I appreciate the clear instructions on how to get to the cabin and other FAQs. Overall, this was a great find. I’ll certainly keep this property in mind for future bookings.

The property was well decorated and kitchen had all the necessary gadgets. The bathroom was large. It was close to Ha Ha Tonka State Park, which we really enjoyed. If we come back to this area, we will book here again.

Nice winter stay
We stayed with our family of 4 plus two mid-sized dogs and it fit our needs perfectly. Our son was playing in the outdoor hockey tournament at the lodge and it was only a short walk to get there. We added in an extra day to explore Ha Ha Tonka State Park, which was an excellent hike through a variety of Ozark habitats. The only hiccup was the bedframe, which sticks out from the mattress and painfully clipped both my wife and my shins once before we learned to give it a wide berth. Otherwise, we all felt right at home.

It is a great place, but there was an overwhelming amount of dog hair in the house. It was on all of the furniture, including the bed. It made us feel unclean for the trip.
