Upstairs with a fantastic view!

Best vacation rental in Campbell River!
We (family of four) wholeheartedly enjoyed an extended stay (20 days) at Wayne’s wonderful top-story accommodation overlooking scenic Discovery Passage, Quadra Island, and the Coast Mountain Range. You could not ask for a more engaging vista, with marina activity in the foreground and snow-capped peaks in the background, all of these wonderful layers visible from the kitchen, living room, and spacious deck of these classy digs. The Alaska cruise ships that navigate these waterways on summer evenings are sight to be seen, not to mention that we were lucky enough to have box seats for the Canada Day fireworks (biggest display in BC!) which unfurled right in front of our position! The two bedroom set-up suited us perfectly, with our pre-teen kids sharing the smaller but ample room kitted with awesome bunk beds, while the large and luxurious master bedroom, including king-size bed, was much appreciated by the parents! Nearby some of Campbell River’s great establishments such as the fishing pier (serving ice cream!) Session taproom and resto, Dick’s fish & chips, and the mini aquarium (amazing for kids), this is the prime home base from which to enjoy the best the region has to offer. Staying almost three weeks, you have the time to ponder what might be lacking in your accommodation, but Wayne’s ‘penthouse’ is well-equipped and he is always on-hand to respond to any queries. Can’t imagine how our experience could have been any better!

Harbour View in Campbell River
We had a wonderful stay at Wayne’s harbour view property. The entire place was super clean, comfortable and very well stocked. Fresh flowers and coffee were also nice extras. The harbour view from the deck was spectacular and location was great for walking to restaurants and shopping.

A great spot and wonderful deck
We were looking forward to this stay, and were thinking that the virw over the harbor would be interesting. It was everything we hoped and more. The deck was great, and wonderful weather allowed us to enjoy it more. We were able to see a decent amount of interesting boat traffic going by including cruise ships and tugs, and even got to spot a bear briefly from the property. The owner was very courteous and generous, and we very much loved the location.

Central Campbell River Stay
Located across from one of the several marinas in Campbell River. Within an easy walk to the central area with several cute local shops, and restaurants. Very large, roomy space with great views of the water and all of the boating activity. Loved seeing the cruise ships every evening, all lit up, looked like floating wedding cakes! Enjoyed exploring the vicinity, i.e. Quadra Island, a few of the provincial parks that were nearby. Overall, our stay was most enjoyable. The manager, Wayne, was very responsive to our requests.

Highly recommended
This is a great property in a fantastic location. Wayne made sure to check on our arrival time and supply the code to the door and instructions how to open etc. There was creamer and coffee as well as ice ready as we arrived, we arrived late, so this was great to have in the morning. The view is stunning and the fact that it was on the Island Highway was not a bother at all. There are binoculars and a telescope for guest’s use. The kitchen is well equipped and lots of pantry items available. We all slept well. The linen was high quality and the mattresses absolutely exceptional. The only suggestions I would have is maybe some screens in front of the windows and a small bedside table and lamp in the room with the bunk bed. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Wayne was easy to reach if needed and this place was so clean and well equipped, I cannot wait to visit again.

Simply perfect
This was such a wonderful find during a two week vacation on Vancouver Island. Wayne could not have been kinder or provided more amenities and comfort in this lovely flat. The king bed is so comfortable, the kitchen very well quipped, and the views from the deck mesmerizing. It is a great base to explore the area and to come "home" to relax, prepare a meal, and enjoy that view. Parking is easy and right at the door. It is fun to walk along the shoreline. Crabby Bob's just over the road offers an array of very fresh seafood and well as smoked.

Great spot in the heart of town
We were in Campbell River for a wedding and wanted a place that was central. This certainly met that need. We shared the suite with our adult son and his girlfriend. They stayed in the second bedroom with the bunkbeds which they found comfortable. A table lamp would be a nice addition to this room as the ceiling light is the only light (that's just me). The primary bedroom is large and has a king bed with the most comfortable foam (I think) mattress that I would have gladly slept on forever! Lots of drawer and closet space. The kitchen is well stocked and there were a few welcome items when we arrived like Creamo and a pound of coffee which we enjoyed. The deck is very spacious with 4 comfy Adirondack chairs and is a wonderful spot to sit and enjoy the scenery anytime or the sunrise if you are an early riser. The living room has a large ceiling fan to keep things cool. However, we could have done with a tower fan in each room as the weather was hot (high 20's) when we were there and both bedrooms got quite warm throughout the day even with the windows open. The suite was very clean so no issues there. Wayne is very easygoing and attentive and answered our queries or requests immediately. We would definitely stay here again.

A Great Find in Campbell River
This beautifully decorated two bedroom apartment is a great place to stay in Campbell River. The outside deck was perfect for watching ships, seals, and whales going by. The host, Wayne, was great, with his personal touches such as the beautiful fresh flowers. The apartment was immaculate and clean!

Great location to enjoy this wonderful area!
We completely enjoyed our stay in Campbell River. Wayne’s place is super clean, comfortable and airy. We were two adults staying using the two bedrooms. One bedroom has a bunk bed set up so a small family can be very comfortable here. We really enjoyed the deck and watching the cruise ships slide by at night. Walking distance to restaurants, and the ferry terminal and whale watching outfitters on the same waterfront street, too! This rental doesn’t have a usual notebook filled with information about the rental and the area, but Wayne was happy to answer all our questions, he was very friendly and available. Great stay!
