Located in the Cliffview Resort region close to hiking trails & Zipline. A great overlooked gem. Being in the mountains biting bugs can be nasty, but no problem at this house in the large screened in porch! Newly renovated in 2023- new furniture, new flooring and a New 3rd Full bathroom added.

This 2 story house offers 4-BR, 3- full BA. Two bedrooms on the main level, the master having a private en suite full Bathroom, and two in the lower level den. Features include: Fiber Optic Wi-Fi, outdoor hot tub, Smart TV, Satellite TV, vcr/dvd, wrap around deck, large screened-in porch with furniture, full service kitchen with refrigerator, dishwasher, gas oven/range, microwave, coffee pot, toaster and all of the kitchenware needed for a weekend escape or extended stay! Cabin features central heat/AC, a beautiful stone wood burning fireplace and an arcade game room in the lower level den. There is also a washer & dryer available for guests.

Two BR have a queen bed each, 3rd BR has a queen and 2 twins, 4th BR has a queen bed. Two BR's are on first floor; the other 2 are downstairs in a basement area, next to the game room.

This house is much larger than it looks from exterior and perfect to immerse yourself in nature. Outside on the deck is a natural gas grill. There is a fire pit with benches for campfires and making s'mores! This house will allow a well trained pet with a Pet fee.

Parking Area will fit several cars, trailers are recommended to park at the top of the driveway before the gate on the pulloff by the trash container.

Perfect for us!
There were six of us with two dogs and we had the perfect Christmas stay in the mountains. Wonderful area, lots of hiking and beautiful views. Lovely, roomy cabin with fireplace and hot tub. Host was so helpful with directions on the phone. We would love to go back! Made some fun and lasting memories.

Plenty of space for everyone
8 out of 10 ladies in our hiking club were able to enjoy the Peaceful Haven cabin for a few days. Everything we needed was quite close - local food, great hiking trails, and peak foliage. We really enjoyed the large kitchen and the very large screened in back deck. For our over 80s Ladies the even ground between the driveway and the front door was a welcome sight. We definitely recommend the Peaceful Haven cabin.

Great place and it was pretty secluded, the maps didnt accurately show where the place was but we just kept going straight and found it, the gravel road going up and down was pretty cool but also a little stressful

The cabin was very clean and cozy with an excellent porch (with bug netting). Was a great rental for our larger group. Just make sure to bring any extra towels and toiletries including soaps and shampoos you may want.

Very nice cabin!
We had a great stay at Peaceful Haven this weekend! We had plenty of space for our group of 10, and absolutely enjoyed all the amenities of the cabin!! The directions to get to the cabin were a little complicated but we found it using Google maps (make sure to download an offline version 😉). The floors were a little dusty but we were in the woods. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean. The hot tub was clean & a perfect temperature. Thanks for a great stay!!

The stay at was great! The only complaints were we wished the directions from check in to the cabin were a little more clear or even a print out map with highlighted route would have been a game changer! And the house has a “heartbeat” you can hear the water sloshing and gurgling through the pipes throughout the whole house the whole time. Almost sounding like a heartbeat. We got used to it and was fine but was pretty noticeable at first. Other than that it was a great stay and great location! Will do again in the area!

View was wonderful, clean and very spacious. Check in was easy, and the cabin is close to every thing. Only thing I would say to change is the directions are a little confusing that they give you in the office check in. Would certainly recommend

Beautiful cabin
My family stayed in this cabin during our trip in Slade, KY and loved it. Super clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. I will definitely stay here next time we visit the area. It is secluded enough from the other cabins to offer total privacy, but conveniently 10 minutes from the town.
