I was looking forward to our stay but it was disappointing. We were here for 5 days for our anniversary and upgraded to a swim out room. The pool area was small as we expected something bigger. The food at the different restaurants were all the same, not a lot of variety. When we went to the hibachi table for dinner I asked for an avocado sushi roll and never got it. After asking for it 4 times, a woman finally told me I wasn’t going to get it and that no one wanted to come tell me that. Yet, the people sitting right next to me got 3 of them to their table.
The bartender at the swim up bar at the party pool was always rude and seemed like he was being bothered when we wanted to order a drink.
The floor is slippery so on one of the nights at dinner it rained heavily. The floor was wet but no one was cleaning it. When I got up to walk towards the food area, I slipped and fell. The hostess saw me fall and didn’t even say anything to me nor did anyone clean the rain that was pouring and coming into the restaurant.
I also hated that you had to check the app to see what restaurants are open and the information on the app is wrong! We were waiting for the buffet to open and instead the Mexican place next door opened when the app did not indicate that.
I will say that our waiter Sofia was really nice. She made sure to check up on us and kept our drinks full. She had such a positive attitude and was the only good thing about the resort.
