I generally liked the property. It was clean, cute and our room had an elegant stairway entry and loft that was adorable. We had a great view of the pool and the ocean. The room itself was clean and well maintained. What I didn't like? They provided no drinkable water stations. Had to go to a nearby tienda and purchase water. What else didn't I like? Some of their employees kept trying to up sell us to some vacation packages and time shares that we were not interested in. They were pretty aggressive about it and it got annoying to the point that we were always keeping a lookout for the employees and trying to avoid them. Generally, a nice property and cute hotel with great beach access. Just a few annoyances that keep this place from getting a five star rating from me.

The property itself is nice. It's an old structure. Walls are paper Thin you can hear every sound Of the room next to you. It only has one restaurant and food is good. Access to the beach is beautiful. The only problem is that the waves are too big Not safe for you to go in The water. If you're looking for a place that is cheap, it's a good option, but you have to go out to find food. Even though it's an old structure, it's very beautiful and Staff is really nice.

Overall it was an ok stay, but we would not stay again. We arrived around 10pm. The guy at the gate was talking to us as if we were some crooks trying to enter the hotel. All the staff were very nice except that one guy. We had to go through him another night and his attitude was the same. The room was clean, but worn down. Our room showed kitchen sink in the picture, but we didn't have one. If you want your room cleaned or need extra towel, soap... you have to send the front desk a whatsapp message. I didn't have a problem with that, but I was told someone would bring the stuff in 15min. It took them almost an hr after me following up 3 times. The safe ran out of battery and took them a day to fix it. Glad it didn't happen on our checkout day. The restaurant is separate from the hotel they say. We went for breakfast the 1st morning and loved the breakfast, but we decided not to go again because they told us their wifi was down and we had to pay cash. I1st fell for it, then I noticed the Spanish speakers are paying card and none spanish speakers are paying cash. So as he was charging a card I went up and asked to get charged on the card. Right in front of me another guy disconects the wifi. The guy runs my card and of course it doesn't work and he says sorry no wifi cash only. So i said sorry no cash, I will wait until your wifi comes back. 20min later he comes back and says ok wifi is working. We decided not to eat there again just for that.

The rooms were not clean everyday and the toilet seat was broken so was the shower and i rented for two beds they gave us one. They asked you for $560 pesos to clean the beach. Overall is a bad hotel. It looked pretty from the putside but really bad in the inside. And for the price we pay it wasnt worth it.

Good for a short stay
Our room was basic but clean and we had an amazing view of the sea and the beach from our room. There was a small shop in the hotel area but not that much else within walking distance although it's easy to get a bus or an Uber.

The place was very dated. Tv was only usually with Netflix. No phone in room. Bed was comfortable but only had a sheet on it. AC was poor, room was hot. I was glad it was only a one-night stay. I think the description on Hotels.com was very misleading. Im handicapped and had stairs in and out of my room. It was difficult to get my mobility scooter out by myself.

I have been going to Cancun hotel zone and Playa del Carmen since 1987. I have seen these areas grow over the years into vibrant flourishing vacation destinations. In the past I have stayed in all-inclusives and Airbnbs. I loved staying at the Bsea Cancun Plaza. The location of the hotel on a beautiful stretch of beach and the pool views was top notch. Every morning I watched the sun rise and the ocean glistened with the rays of the sun from my balcony. My room was big with a king sized bed and kitchenette area. It was very clean the walls looked like they had been recently painted. The property is a older old but well kept. Staff was always working on the grounds and make renovations to rooms. The food in the restaurant was good. Fernando the waiter was so sweet and very gracious. In fact all the staff was very nice and helpful. I would highly recommend staying here at this property. The bus stop was a few feet down making transportation easy and accessible. I would gladly stay at this hotel again and again. The beach was fabulous!!!
