I liked that it was very clean and the staff is terrific, in spite of what looks like poor senior management. Lucio, at reception was a prince, and very helpful. He deserves a BIG raise. Breakfast was pretty good and reasonable. GREAT coffee. BUT, pool didn't have a pump, or it wasn't on,so the water was breeding germs and not at all refreshing...in fact it was hot. Advertised hot tub was dirty and not working. One had to ask for toilet paper, God forbid they leave a spare when running low, or notice when lights need a replacement bulb. It felt like being ahead of maintenance instead of reacting to what's needed is not in the management plan, i.e., things got addressed when the customer asked for it, it wasn't ever anticipated or addressed with any initiative. I understand the no smoking rule, but there is a no alcohol rule, so if you want a cold beer in your room, you do without or risk sneaking it in...the best thing about this place is it's clean with a great staff, who is left to deal with poor management overall. I would never stay there again, in spite of the staff. There are other places in this price range that have to be better. I got the feeling that saving money and cutting corners is of utmost importance, not customer satisfaction. Give Lucio a raise!
