Our stay at Blackstone Mountain Lodge was exceptional. Perfectly located in Canmore between Calgary and Banff, it offers both convenience and a sense of retreat. At check-in, Ethan at the front desk surprised us with a complimentary upgrade from a deluxe one-bedroom to a spacious two-bedroom suite. The suite felt practically brand new—stylish furnishings, ample living space, and balcony views that framed the Rockies beautifully. Amenities are top-notch: the jacuzzi and pool are warm and well-kept, the gym rivals boutique fitness centers, and underground heated parking kept our car toasty in freezing weather. Room 122 was spotless throughout our stay—housekeeping set the bar high. The property also offers thoughtful extras: three Tesla destination chargers and three car-wash stalls (a vacuum would be the only missing touch). Blackstone combines mountain grandeur with refined hospitality. Every detail felt intentional, from the design to the service, making it one of the most memorable alpine stays we’ve experienced.
