Feel like you are on the rooftop to the world in this gorgeous, dog-friendly loft. Tranquil, private and spacious, this is your mountain home away from home. Brew a cup of locally roasted coffee while you prepare for an epic day in the Rocky Mountains. 5 minutes walk to Canmore Main St for boutique shopping, cafes and restaurants, yet a million miles from anywhere. Great dog walking trails right across the street, & easy access to the mountains by car or transit. Dog Friendly!
The Space:
The condo is stocked with locally made, 100% natural bath and body products. The kitchen contains everything you could possibly need to cook up a storm, including complimentary local Eclipse coffee, a Keurig coffee maker, tea, sugar, cooking oil and BBQ spices. The private deck has seating and a BBQ, the perfect place to relax and enjoy those amazing views in the summer, or cozy up on the couch and look at those same views from the warmth of the living room with romantic gas fireplace.
The entire apartment is kept clean using only eco-friendly cleaning products (no nasty chemicals here!). It is best suited for couples or families and there is extra accommodation for 1-2 people in the comfy sofa bed if you need it. Please note the master bedroom is a loft, so it is open to the main living area downstairs, and the bathroom in the loft is open to the bedroom. The two rooftop hot tubs and one indoor hot tub (just across the hall) are a welcome place to revive sore muscles after a day of adventure, and if you want to work off dinner, there is a small but functional gym in the building. Hot tubs and gym are shared facilities.
Canmore offers loads of opportunities for the adventurous and serene alike. Hike, bike, climb, ski, white water raft or canoe, and when you need a little downtime, settle with a picnic blanket and a book in a park besides the river in summer, or cozy up in front of the fire in winter.
Guest Access:
Guests may access all areas of the condo itself, and everywhere in the 3 buildings that comprise Canmore Crossing. This includes the two rooftop hot tubs and 3 fitness rooms (one per building).
The Neighborhood:
This downtown neighborhood is only a 5-minute walk to main St. Supermarkets and coffee shops are even closer, in the adjacent complex. Drive 15 minutes to reach the boutiques and sights of Banff, and ski, bike, and hike in nearby Banff National Park.
Getting Around:
Canmore is small and easy to get around on foot, by car or by public transit. There is free public transportation around Canmore and to/from Banff (Banff return is $12). Information about Canmore and Banff Roam Transit timetables are provided in the condo.
Other Things to Note:
There are internal stairs in this property. This property is not air conditioned and it can get warm in summer. Please reach out if you need air conditioning and we can direct you to one of our air conditioned properties.
Interaction with Guests:
We are professional vacation managers who live in town and will happily offer as much or as little support as you need during your stay.
