Really close to train station and central in Venice. The AC was broken for the first day of our stay during a heatwave which was not ideal but they apologized and fixed it by the next day. The room could use some updates/ fixes but the main issue was the bathroom had considerable amounts of mold. While I understand that Venice is known for flooding, it was still a problematic amount of mold which hadn’t been cleaned out in clearly a while. Kitchen and front desk staff were mostly very nice.

The hotel has a great location, it is 10 minutes walking away from the train station. If you plan to iron your clothes make sure to bring an iron, they don’t peovu one.

Great location in relation to the St. Lucia train station. Rooms, need some modernisation, but probably similar to local standards. Not sure how this is 4 star as there are limited facilities at the hotel and in the room (Venice is the star attraction right?!) Air con was faulty in our first room, which I would have expected to have been discovered by staff when they made it up in the first place, and the alternative room offered the air conditioning was poor. Breakfast was good - the pancake machine is a must.

Great stay, loved the fact of Amadeus being an old fashioned hotel, travel in time, would definitely stay there again. reception clerk was a bit moody but nice, helped us with check in swiftly! Breakfast waiter so knowledgeable about Italian poets. Overall we had a wonderful stay! Delicious breakfast!

The hotel staff were excellent and very helpful. The included features were very very good. The room was neat, clean, very interesting to look at, had good A/C. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was an awesome value with good breads, eggs, bacon, fruit, oatmeal, yogurt, coffee, etc. in a buffet with a very nice dining area.

No surprise this place is poorly rated. Advantage is 5 mins walk from station but rest of all part is far ( walkable though). Don't fall on the room rates, Most staff are terrible esp front desk. Breakfast is below average. Venice being a small area may be they are getting business.

Great trip to Venice. Hotel should be 3 star. 1st room dark and small but they changed us to an ok room where we could at least open a window. Nail clippings on floor, mould in bathroom. Everything needs a facelift. Breakfast good. Garden nice but again needs some work. Great area, near railway, busses and vaporetto. Walking distance to most places.

liked the accessiblity to the St. Lucia train station. nearby to water taxis/ water bus stops. poor ventilation. i was initially given a room that didnt have any windows and AC was not working that it was suffocating. the manager initially offered a fan but was then kind enough to give me another room with windows but after an initial mild protest. but the fact that there were rooms without windows and fan and a non working Air conditioner is scary

Exactly what I expected for the price point. Clean, easy to find, close to train station and bus depot. Breakfast included and very good with good options. The hotel for us was well situated in venice. Not downtown, but I didn’t want to push suitcases too far. Delightful walk to main attractions. I would absolutely stay here again.
