Wonderful experience
Room was very nice, simple, tastefully decorated. Very clean, we had everything to feel comfortable. Kitchen/breakfast area was spotless. Motel even has area to relax and enjoy the sunset with mountain views. Location of the hotel is fantastic: walking distance from downtown Canon City; right across the street from the Royal Gorge train and the Arkansas river and 3 minutes from Tunnel Drive Trail Head if you like scenery and hiking. One block from the motel is a fantastic ice cream shop! Continental breakfast was delicious, lots of variety. We ate outside of the breakfast area and enjoyed the mountain views. We will definitely be staying here if we are in this area again!

We did one stay here but the property is perfect for doing activities near Canon City. The rooms are very clean and the staff is very helpful. Good parking space also has a nice view

Well maintained and clean property that shows pride of ownership. We rented two rooms for a family event. Rooms were clean, everything works, linens were clean and in good condition. Short walk to restaurants and to the Royal Gorge tourist train.

I love the older motor lodges like this. This property was clean and quiet, not to mention quaint! Check in was easy, and there was plenty of parking.

Loved the location to everything, shopping, park, food etc. Royal Gorge was only about 10 miles away. The bed in room was the best ever! Room extremely clean, just a little small and I would have liked a small fridge. Otherwise would have given 5 stars. Continental breakfast had everything a person needed! We would stay there again.

Beds were super comfy, and the front desk service was great. Good breakfast choices, nice to be able to park right at our room. The road noise was very loud, as was the train that came by. Not a deal breaker, just something to keep in mind.

This little inn is incredibly well-tended and convenient to the train station and walkable to restaurants and shops. The bathroom was unbelievably small but it was as clean as any five star resort. We requested and received a room back off the road but it was still a lot of road noise. The AC and fan were loud enough to drown out most of the traffic, however. For the price this is just a wonderful value and very pleasant surprise. Breakfast was continental with seating inside or out on the balcony patio. We were very pleased.
