Nice house in a lovely location
We were very happy with Vista Magica. The house was very clean and well equipped and the owner was on hand to answer any queries promptly. The location of the house, on the outskirts of the ancient small town of Capdepera, was excellent and within in a short walk of a range of good restaurants.

A beautiful home. Very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The location is gorgeous with beautiful views from the balconies. We loved sitting outside at night and enjoying the beautiful Mallorcan evenings. Word of warning, there is no AC. The apartment had several fans to help keep cool at night but it can get pretty warm during the day. We kept the windows upstairs open at night and the breeze helped. It's a residential area so we decided not to open the windows on the ground floor. We typically left in the mornings before it got too hot and when we returned in the evenings it wasn't too bad. Good news is that there are virtually no bugs in Mallorca. No issues with mosquitoes or flies coming in the house. A fully functioning kitchen, nice showers (good water pressure). Beds were comfortable and lots of linens. Communication with the owners is excellent. When we requested an extra fan, they had it at our door in 30 minutes. 2 things to be aware of. Before we checked in the owners requested a $350E deposit plus $50E in taxes and they only took cash. I don't mind paying a deposit but the owners should figure out a system so they can accept a credit card. Getting the deposit back wasn't an issue however. Also the owners made everyone fill out a form with our passport info which apparently was to be submitted to the local police. Not sure what that was about but it seemed unusual. I would strongly recommend this place especially if they invest in some AC.

Tolle Unterkunft in guter Lage
Trotz schwieriger Rahmenbedingungen (Flugverspätung, Unwetter) hat die tolle Unterkunft und der freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber dazu beigetragen, den Urlaub zu retten. Trotz mehrstündiger Verspätung und Ankunft um 3 Uhr morgens war der Check-In problemlos, der Gastgeber vorher erreichbar und es gab sogar Wasser und einen kleinen aber leckeren Snack nach den Reisestrapazen. In Capdepera gibt es alles für den täglichen Bedarf und das Meer und Cala Ratjada sind nicht weit und von der Bushaltestelle in Sichtweite der Unterkunft aus schnell erreichbar. Vielen Dank für die gute Unterbringung.
