Beautifully restored house with gorgeous landscaping! The owners were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and friendly! Sit-down breakfast was delicious but they also accommodated on another day with a yummy to-go breakfast when we had to leave early for a kayak tour. Bed was incredibly comfortable and room had everything we needed!

This B&B was absolute perfection. From the beautiful decor, the fantastic bedding, and delicious breakfasts, our hosts excelled at catering to their guests' every need. They were welcoming, helpful, and easy to deal with. The location was great! This was our first visit but it will not be our last!

This charming B&B was everything I had hoped for! It is a beautifully maintained historic home that is decorated with period pieces. Lovely fall decor was in every room of the house as well as outside the Inn, which gave it a sense of occasion. My room was cozy, and had all the amenities any traveler would want. The inn keepers attended to every detail that made this Inn the unique treasure that it is. Lively conversation with the owners and the other guests accompanied the gourmet breakfasts each morning. Centrally located in Cape Charles, I was able to walk to shops, restaurants, a spa, and the local brewery and distillery. I highly recommend Bay Haven Inn of Cape Charles!

A True Gem
If in the area, this is the place to stop. Spacious rooms with appropriate furniture. Relaxing atmosphere. There is not much in the town for shopping and such, but The Shanty restaurant had good food with a relaxed atmosphere. The Inn was so inviting that you would not want just a one night stay.

Delicious breakfast!
Tammy was a wonderful hostess- delicious breakfast, comfy beds and lots of local information! Halloween at Bay Haven was great- lots of amazing decorations and cute trick or treaters! Walkable to downtown shops and restaurants. She even does a "take out" early breakfast for golfers with early tee times!

What makes a B&B are the inn keepers and the inn. At Bay Haven Inn you have great friendly and helpful inn keeper in Tammy and very spacious clean comfortable room. The breakfast was out of site.

A Treat of a Retreat
The Bay Haven Inn is truly a gem. The property is well located for the local shops, restaurants and beach which are all within a short stroll. The owners are extremely friendly and very helpful and the breakfasts served are most enjoyable. The surrounding area is very flat which helped when we rented some bikes to tour the small town. The property built in the early 1900's is immaculately set out with period furniture and matching furnishings bolstering the feeling of real quality and comfort. There is ample room throughout and having an 'open pantry' with access to snacks and drinks is very convenient.
