Great Place to call home for a week!

Everything was as advertised, check in was simple and efficient. Location is off the beaten path just enough to be quiet but close enough to major roads to move around town. Lots of people out walking every evening. Pool was a great temperature for march and got plenty of sunshine. Pool Sun was partially blocked by the bamboo wall in late afternoon/early evening but that gives lots of privacy and half the pool was still sunny! House was very clean, had everything we needed! Bonus, lots of owls in the neighborhood. Get up early or out just before sundown to see and hear them when they are active! Definitely, on the short list for a return trip! Thanks for a great stay.

Location was wonderful

We enjoyed our stay. The location was very good for access to everything we needed. The layout of the home was very nice. We loved being in the pool and the pool cover kept the temperature of the water very comfortable when covered at night. The only thing that could have been improved on was the condition of the back patio...the pavers and the patio chairs were not very clean.

Property was perfect for our girls weekend. Fairly centrally located too many bars and restaurants, not far from Fortt Myers beach… Very comfortable home, nice pool, all the amenities needed for a long weekend

Wonderful

We were in Cape Coral to visit my husbands parents and the house was perfect. We spent most evenings on the lanai playing cards. The pool was very nice. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely property

1st time in Cape Coral so it took a bit getting our bearings. Villa is in a good location not far from some great restaurants and grocery shops and short drive to Fort Myers. The villa was well equipped for a small party like us but would struggle to provide sufficient cups and bowls for a larger party. Bed was very comfortable Plenty towels soaps and pool towels provided Lovely and safe neighbourhood

Short trip with family, great owners

Stayed w/3 adult kids & spouse, for real estate in the area. Pool, layout, kitchen, amenities, cleanliness, owner communication all great. We would stay again if coming to area. Some of patio furniture doesnt match pictures, make sure check window as locked, rest of stay great.

Fun and relaxing

The home was as described in the VRBO listing. The house was clean, in excellent repair and reasonably priced. Would rent this home again. Although the home had a boat launch, which we didn't use was a nice plus. My spouse and I enjoyed sitting on the pier watching the wildlife.

Great Family Vacation Home

This spacious home was very comfortable. Wonderfully equipped kitchen. Comfortable mattresses. Heated pool on intercoastal with great outdoor dining patio. 3 sliding glass doors. Four televisons. Are family had a great time

Are family had a great stay thanks to the Harwick's. The pool was nice and relaxing the kids loved the canal for fishing. We one small issue the ac stopped working but the property manager Greg got right on it and had it fixed right away thanks Greg. We will definitely stay again.

Beautiful home to stay in- just needs tweaking

We loved the house and location. Was very clean. The only thing we suggest is replacing all of the mattresses and removing the carpet in bedrooms. The mattresses were like the ones we sell that are meant for once in awhile use with a one year warranty. They were caving in and crunching before laying down on them and we are a small couple. The 4 inch memory foam doesn’t help the failing coils beneath it. Anyone with back problems would need to sleep somewhere else. Needless to say unless good mattresses are put in this house -return customers may be a bit of a challenge. Still beautiful house with potential but it does need to have good mattresses. Also the swimming pool was dirty the first night and then the pool guy showed up to skim off the filth. However the pump never ran and layers of sand were laying on the lining. Anyone who has a pool knows how important it is to keep the filters and pump running. I did not use the pool nor would I recommend using it. Just a couple of things to tweak and we would go back again. The area was beautiful and the people were friendly.

Amazing!

We enjoyed the property so much! The house is beautiful and located in a quiet neighborhood. The kids lived in the wonderful pool! The dock was a peaceful place to sit enjoy the canal and watching wildlife. The owners were so kind and responsive to messages. We will definitely be back!

A great option for a value stay

We spent two weeks at the Pelican. We really enjoyed the floor plan, as it offered separation between the guest rooms (my office) and the master bedroom. We spent a lot of time around the pool area and the pool was very nice for a home in this price range. We found the kitchen to be well equipped, in good working order, and 100% free from any unwelcomed guests mentioned in other reviews. HVAC system worked very well too. I'm deducting one star for beds and mattresses that were below expectations when compared to our other VRBO stays and for the broken sink drain in the guest bathroom that should have been easily fixed for <$20 before our arrival. Overall, this house is a pretty good value for the price, just don't expect luxury.
