Treat yourself to the lovely experience offered at this cozy Redstone cabin with two rustic shared tiled natural hot springs. The setting is so beautiful and unique it inspired Disney to use it for the movie 'Tall Tales.'

Just across the river from the Filoha Meadows Natural Reserve, this rental is on the Crystal River, two miles from Redstone, and 14 miles from Marble. Driving to this area in the winter may require four-wheel drive or chains. Be sure to stock up on groceries and gas in Carbondale (13 miles away) before heading to the cabin to settle in. This rental is one of four that can be rented together for a larger group with two buildings each with 2 cabins with a shared breezeway between and a large shared deck

The Cabins at Filoha Meadows can be rented as an entire property, or as individual cabins including Elephant Mountain Cabin and Mt. Sopris Cabin.

The interior has plenty of natural light and comfortable furnishings. While there's no TV, you'll have WIFI access, and due to the rural setting may be spotty at times. But with the beautiful outdoor setting you may enjoy being completely unplugged during your stay, you'll find more than enough to occupy your time. Lounge on the wood frame furniture in the living room, or head out to the deck and enjoy the sun and your surroundings to the soothing sound of the river.

The picnic-style dining table is a great place to gather with your traveling companions to savor meals and snacks you create on the gas grill or in the kitchenette. Please note that the kitchenette does not have a dishwasher or a stove/oven, but with the full refrigerator, microwave, hot plate, and coffeemaker, you'll be able to enjoy many of your favorite meals during your stay.

With a king-size bed and a double sofa bed, this cabin has a maximum occupancy of 4.

Anglers will be in heaven right on the edge of the Crystal River. Drop in your line along the private stretch of shoreline, or get some kayaking in. Soak in one of the two shared tiled hot tubs in your backyard filled by a natural hot spring while you watch the fireflies.

Beautiful Redstone is just as enjoyable in the winter. Quality skiing is nearby with Sunlight Ski Area just 35 miles away where you can enjoy snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. About a 40 minute drive from Aspen/Snowmass or Sunlight Ski Resort in Glenwood Springs. Wander the little town of Redstone with quaint shops and a Country Store that is like a Rockwell print. And when you want to enjoy a meal out, treat yourself to what's considered the best BBQ around: Marble's Slow Groov'n BBQ restaurant.

Come to Redstone and witness one of the most stunning areas in the country. Make your reservation today, and start making plans for your memorable getaway.

*Please note that this rental is on a shared property, so you may see or hear other guests. Please note that the cabins are a series of four cabins housed in two buildings; 2 cabins to each building with a breezeway between the two cabins in each building, with shared deck. Please be courteous to your neighbors and keep your noise level to a minimum. No smoking of any type is allowed on this property. Thank you for your consideration.*

Nice quiet mountain getaway.
We enjoyed our stay. Be careful with the kids down by the river when it's up and flowing hard.

Relaxation in the midst of nature!
My husband, SIL and I spent two lovely nights enjoying the beautiful river, nature and the hot springs at Filoha Meadows. The night sky was really spectacular - the Milky Way was so vibrant thanks to the lack of light pollution in the area. This is definitely dark sky country (so much so that we needed to use the provided lantern to walk the short distance to the hot springs for our evening soak in the tub to watch the stars). The property is private, quiet and provided us with the R&R we desperately needed. Mike, the property manager was a pleasure to engage with and was so knowledgeable! He even provided a few recommendations of things to do in the area, including a great recommendation for delicious BBQ in Marble. The property owner even stopped by to chat with us over a glass of wine. The cabin was comfortable and had everything you could need for your stay, including additional towels for the hot springs pool and the ability to cook your own meals, if you don’t want to drive to Carbondale. The path along the river had beautiful spots to soak up the tranquility of nature, including benches to sit. They were great spots to see the leaves changing on the mountainside while enjoying the sounds of the river. It was a really great way to see the fall colors and was exactly what we needed. Thank you for the hospitality, we will certainly be back!

Get Away from it all!
Perfect place to get away from everything. Clean, comfortable beds, quiet. Seating in the living area needs to be updated and is very uncomfortable. Other than that we loved it.

We absolutely loved the location & hot tubs by the river! My hubs is a bigger guy so a larger, sturdier chair would be nice but overall we still give it 5 stars!

Perfect location!
We loved the ease of taking day trips just an hour away from the property - Black Canyon, Glenwood Springs and Aspen. It was very comfortable to "come home" to at the end of our days. Sitting in the hot tub watching the stars was also a plus!

Close enough, but far enough
Over all it was a great stay. Some of the reviews and description of the closeness and access to outside amenities are a little off. Nearest town for groceries I'd say was no more than 20 minutes. Glennwood Springs was also pretty close by at 30-40 minutes. Which is about how far the smoking bb-q place was. This cabin was great and had everything you needed for a long stay. Super quite, relaxing and so many stars at night. It is a gorgeous property and the 2 hot tubs were a nice perk. The property was close enough to lots of fun things to do and food options, but far enough away to be one with nature with few to no disturbances. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Awesome except water situation
Wonderful except water in bathroom sink and shower was not usable due to extreme sulphur content. That was the only drawback to this gem of a property.

Beautiful, Quiet
This cabin was exactly as described. It was clean, had a well supplied kitchen, and felt isolated even with three other units nearby. Mike was friendly and gave us great advice for food and exploring.

PERFEECT, relaxing, cozy
We absolutely loved our stay here. The hot springs were amazing and the amount of property that we could explore was a nice surprise! The property manager, Mike, was more than accommodating and super helpful to talk to - gave us lots of tips on what to do in the area. We also talked to another man, believe it was the owner of the property - we felt like we were at home. Very cozy, comfortable, beautiful. We will absolutely be staying here again.

Amazing Views, Friendly owners
Had the pleasure of a short stay just after labor day weekend with a buddy. Was instantly surprised by its location, as the pictures dont reflect how breathtaking the views are. The house was newish, very weel kept and clean. It faces an even bigger peak/range not pictured, just across a creek and field, walking distance from your cabin. Truly remarkable setting. The property manager and house owners are on site but aside from saying hello and being of assistance if you need it, they don't bother you. Several tubs filled with natural hot springs water are there to use, one was way too hot, the other just right. Took a long day hike up onto the trail near the base of the range which wasnt challenging but rugged. Cooled off in the ice cold creek afterward. Would recommend and stay again. Bout the only downside is the water is on a well, and has a strong sulfur smell, but it wasnt an issue at all.

Wonderful getaway
This was perfect for our family getaway for 5 adults. The place is small but adequate for our needs: sleeping, getting out of rain, and allowing a good launching point for visiting the area. We could fish, use hot tubs, and explore the beautiful surroundings. Could have better directions for finding (we passed it multiple times) and for hiking in area. We would come back.

Wonderful place to stay.
Beautiful area. A very clean and well appointed place to stay. Mike demonstrated his desire for us to be comfortable and enjoy our stay. Mid July was a little too warm without air conditioning. Ceiling fan should be turned counter clock wise for the summer months. We were unable to use the loft space. Too warm and no outlet to plug in a fan.

Weekend getaway
We enjoyed our stay at this great little getaway. There were 4 adults and 1 ten year old and had plenty of room. Fishing, hot springs, and many close by activities kept us busy. The stars were beautiful while sitting in the hot springs for the evening and then later the sound of the Crystal River below would put you to sleep. Mike would come by and check to make sure that everything was ok and if you needed something he would get it. Just be sure to bring plenty of bug spray for the mosquitoes and deer flies, but that's anywhere you stay in Colorado when you're by water.

Comfortable simple cabin in a beautiful setting
Simple cabin but definitely would not call it "rustic." Very clean and comfortable. Myself and 2 girlfriends stayed there for a weekend to celebrate a birthday. We stayed in cabin 2, which has one large bed and a loft with 2 twin mattresses on the floor. It's a little steep climbing up to the loft but I was quite comfortable up there. If you are looking for total privacy/seclusion, this may not be the place for you, as there are 4 cabins quite close together and they share 2 hot spring pools- but this is stated in the description, so should not be surprising. During our stay, we lucked out and were the only people staying on the property. The hot spring pools are great. The water temperature was perfect and Mike, the groundskeeper, checked in with us to make sure it was comfortable for us. Mike was very friendly and helpful. He was happy to talk to us about local hiking trails, the town of Redstone, and local history and we really enjoyed chatting with him. I can't say enough about the beauty and tranquility of the setting. We arrived late at night and when we saw the surroundings in the morning light, it literally almost brought us to tears. Being able to walk around the property, along the Crystal River, with views of Mt Sopris and other surrounding mountains, was so relaxing and appealing it caused us to change our hiking plans so that we didn't have to leave the property the whole weekend. We heard coyotes yipping and howling through the night and even heard a mountain lion vocalizing from the hills in the evening. If you are looking for relatively inexpensive, simple, clean, comfortable accommodations in a fairy-tale setting, this is the place for you!
