Wanted to try this newer property, and knew it would have a full refrigerator/freezer, which I used for my travel cooler items and to refreeze ice packs. Pricier than other Carbondale hotels, but conveniently located within walking distance of SIU campus and train depot.

The hotel was amazing and the room made it easy for me to get back and forth between my classes. I do wish the parking lot wasn’t so sloped but that is a minor concern.
