This is a lovely hotel. It has an open roof that opens over the pool and my room was closer to the outdoor portion so I think that is why there were a couple of small bugs in our room. I used a bug replellant that plugs into the wall and it worked. Otherwise, the room was clean and the staff was pleasant. Always attentive and alert. Parking was easier, once you arrived and its located in the heart of Mayaguez Pueblo. I would rent again.

There was no hot water stsrting with the first night of our 4 night stay. They fixed it the last night we were there. The pool was not operational. There was 1 night we went diwn for towels and they had no clean towels. The floors in the room was very dirty. The toilet seat was broken snd they did vome fix that They refused to work with us to refund money so we could stay somewhere else.

Hotel is fine. Needs a little extra care in rooms. We had been there a year ago and liked it, so we decided to book it again. The restaurant in the hotel (Casa Abu) was terrible. We went for dinner one night, breakfast the next day and drinks another night. Super slow service (more than an hour for an omelette). The afternoon we went for drinks ordered some appetizers that never arrived, when asked our waitress after 1.5 hours of waiting she just told us that there was only 1 person in the kitchen. We also ordered several mojitos which were horrible, we could not drink them. When we told the waitress she just told us that she used the right measurements to prepare them and charged for them.
