I enjoyed my time the people were very hospitable and it’s was an average stay for Cuba !!! If you’re up to it you can walk to varadero !!

On the first day all my money and my coat got stolen, it was to hard to find proper food close by, hard to communicate, no wifi, hard to find a bank and no banks take Canadian cards, can only exchange at airport, the host was painting the building and I got paint on my clothes that didn’t come out, there was a cockroach in my room, bed was very uncomfortable

Insgesamt hatten wir 3 durchwachsene Tage in dieser Casa. Der Strand von Varadero und viele Restaurants in Santa Marta und Varadero sind sogar fußläufig gut erreichbar. Allerdings gab es auch ein sehr großes Manko, die beiden Betten und insgesamt das Schlafzimmer waren furchtbar. Die Matratzen gingen gar nicht und waren während der gesamten drei Wochen Kuba wirklich mit Abstand die schlechtesten, die wir hatten. An erholsamen Schlaf war nicht zu denken. Das Zimmer wies leider auch Feuchtigkeitsschäden an der Decke auf, resultierend aus einer enormen Luftfeuchtigkeit. Auch gab es in den drei Tagen gerade mal drei Stunden Strom. Der Generator der Casa-Besitzer lief ausschließlich für ihren Bedarf, was ok ist, da der Sprit sehr teuer war. Es wäre aber schön gewesen, wenn man uns vielleicht die ein oder andere batteriebetriebene Lampe zur Verfügung gestellt hätte oder angeboten worden wäre, dass wir uns zu ihnen auf die Dachterrasse setzen können. Es war ihnen jedoch völlig egal, ob wir im Dunkeln sitzen. Auch die direkt vor der einzigen Sitzmöglichkeit draußen abgestellten Fahrräder der Familie waren etwas störend, da diese in regem Gebrauch waren und immer jemand wegfuhr oder ankam, ohne einen mal freundlich zurück zu grüßen. Ich kann diese Casa leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

Boendet är ca 20 minuter gångavstånd från stranden och det finns caféer i närheten. Värden var väldigt trevligt och hjälpsam. Lägenheten vi bodde i var på BV och bra storlek men den luktade instängd/mögligt, personen som som vid ingången sov knappt pga det högljudda kylskåpet och det fanns ingen taklampa där. Duschdraperiet var mögligt och det fanns ett hål på badrumsgolvet som hade täckts av en matta. Der fanns inte heller krokar för att hänga handdukarna. Kåndes som att renoveringen aldrig blev klart.
