Enjoy this new (2015) custom contemporary 1 bedroom flat in a quiet neighborhood of Cardiff, CA. Southern exposure offers morning and afternoon sun in all rooms. With vaulted ceilings in the main living area the space is open and airy. The living room has a full size pull out sofa, arm chair, and cozy window seat as well as a high definition TV, high speed internet, cable, and DVD player provided for entertainment. The fully equipped kitchen is eat-in and offers all the conveniences and necessities of home. You'll find everything you need whether you want to cook a holiday meal or just push a button to get your morning coffee or tea. Central heating and A/C provide custom temperature control and the full size bathroom offers a complete set of linens and towels as well as a full size washer and dryer. Rest after a long day at the beach on the queen size memory foam mattress.
A private patio area will allow you to enjoy the southern California weather. Beach chairs, boogie boards, and a surf board are provided. Enjoy a complementary bottle of wine upon arrival and start your vacation!

A relaxing, easy stay in every way
We were really pleased with our recent stay in Cardiff by the Sea. The property is exactly as described and was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. I absolutely recommend this property and will plan to stay here again.

Great place to stay
We had a very nice stay at this little apartment above Jen and Colin’s home. The place is decorated nicely and very clean. We appreciated the nice touch with the note and complimentary bottle of wine waiting for us. The neighborhood is in the perfect location and close to the things we like to do. With 4 people staying in the unit, it would be great to have a TV in the bedroom. We really enjoyed how comfortable the place was and would definitely stay here again.

A wonderful two-week stay
We very much enjoyed our two-week stay in this apartment which has everything one looks for in a VRBO. It is comfortable, quiet, spacious, private and well-equipped and perfectly located with easy access to beaches, restaurants and shopping. Convenient parking and entry to the apartment. When we return to the Cardiff-Encinitas area we hope to stay in this VRBO apartment again. We highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting the area.

Very nice quiet and safe neighbourhood to stay in.This place sits above the garage of the property and gets quite hot by the end of the day but the air conditioning was lovely. There was no sea view as indicated in the photo as all the trees have matured up. You definately need a car if you stay as there is nothing within walking distance if you need supplies. The place is very well equipped and we had no problem cooking there. Very luxury to have a washer and dryer to use as well. If you are a sensitive sleeper definately have a eye mask as there is no form of blackout in the bedroom. The outdoor area is at the bottom of the stairwell and is comfortable.

Wonderful stay!
Very clean, amazing kitchen, beautiful property & neighborhood, and many nice amenities. Our elementary school age children slept on the pull out sofa, and it was absolutely perfect for our family. Teenagers may not like the pull out sofa and the property isn’t for young children because of the stairs.

Nice vacation rental in Cardiff
Quiet and comfortable apartment that’s perfect for a couple. Impeccably clean, and also light and airy with lots of windows. Had everything we needed for a great vacation stay. Includes Direct TV and a good wifi signal. Nice residential area that while not at the beach, access is just a short drive away. Would highly recommend.

Perfect get-away spot
This property is in a very nice neighborhood, conveniently located to HWY 5 in Cardiff which means it only takes minutes to get to the beach or various hiking trails. It has all the conveniences of home which allowed us to fix meals, do laundry and just relax after a busy day of sight-seeing. The bed is comfortable and the linens and towels are top-notch. It was definitely worth the money and more than we expected. By all means, if you're looking for a nice quiet place away from San Diego, this is it! And don't forget to go to Torrey Pines for a spectacular hike- it's very close.

Beautiful place to stay!
The place was even better than the pictures! The place was spotless, the bed super comfy, and the kitchen well stocked. The full size washer and dryer was an added bonus. The location is in a quiet neighborhood and with a few steps, a fabulous view of the ocean. Cardiff is a great little town, pretty close to everything you’d need. Jen was very responsive when I had a question. I highly recommend this place!

Beautiful place close to beaches and food.
I had a fantastic experience staying here. The flat is gorgeous, modern with comfy furnishings that made me feel like I was at home. It is a quiet neighborhood and a quiet house. It is a great location-within easy driving distance to all the beaches, hiking and restaurants in Cardiff and Encinitas. The hosts are friendly, helpful and gave me a bottle of wine upon my arrival.

A Perfect Fit
This was among the best vrbo’s out of many that we have rented over the years. The main strong point for me was location. Beautiful view of the ocean, lovely homes in the neighborhood and quiet! We were there during 4th of July and there was almost no noise except a few bangs and some fireworks in the distance. So appreciated that! Everything is very convenient…..restaurants, beaches, a wonderful Humane Society thrift store and many supermarkets. Besides having the mainstream ones, there’s also Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods close by. Our local favorite was the legendary Seaside Market, where, despite the rental having an extremely well equipped kitchen, one can take out gourmet prepared food from their deli and never have to touch a pot or a pan! Hosts couldn’t have been nicer. Put it all together and It spells….A Perfect Fit!

They've got the perfect blend of hospitality and privacy hands off enjoy-your-stay . Jen and Brian were very nice, lent me a surfboard. They make things easy with the keyless entry. They'll text you if you want local tips, and their spot is in a nice neighborhood that has a cool overlook (it's not out your window, but just walk 30 steps outside with a coffee in hand) book it, dummy
