The staff at the hotel are very friendly, helpful and courteous. The rooms are great for the price, very clean and comfy for a short trip to Cardiff. Location is superb, opposite the Castle, Bute Park, and very close to the main shopping areas, stadium, and just a short walk from the railway station.

I feel like we were taken advantage of when you get a double bed at $650 a night with a sub par hotel. Check the cost of the hotel the month before it was $60 a night, that’s ridiculous. I understand you up charge because of Taylor swift in town to upcharge by the amount you did is absolutely outrageous. And

Always choose a Holiday Inn whenever I visit different cities. This one didn’t disappoint. Although I had noisy neighbours in opposite rooms slamming doors, the overall stay was lovely. Clean room, big tv, good room facilities, quiet from the outside and amazing breakfast.

The hotel looks a bit tired on the outside but is modern inside in the public areas. The room was basic and a little tired looking. We had to pump the toilet handle to get it to work and it didn’t always! Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of food and a reasonable price for a buffet. The location was really good and was only a 5 minute walk to the high street and the castle entrance. Cardiff arms park was at the back.

Great convenient location overlooking the castle and arena, only a short walk into the town and facilities.Lovely breakfast and helpful staff. My only (minor quibble) was that the bathroom was on the small side, however the room was a good size.
