Blaenavon is a World Heritage Site with lots of history to explore, including the Big Pit National Coal Museum, Blaenavon Ironworks, and Blaenavon Heritage Railway.
On top of this, the hillside town is set at the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The Blorenge mountain is a popular hiking and cycling spot nearby and is home to The Keepers Pond where many enjoy a cold-water dip and take in the stunning view. For a more relaxing stroll and even a picnic you can visit the nearby Garn Lakes.
The Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal is also a great way to explore some more of South Wales beautiful countryside and towns. Zebra House has been thoughtfully decorated and is set up to comfortable sleep four guests plus your furry friends! With an open plan kitchen diner and dogs’ room, perfect to sit and enjoy a meal together after a day of exploring. Then relax by the fire in the cosy lounge or have a family games night from the selection of games, books and activities supplied in the game room (conservatory).
