This property is not what you think when you think radisson it’s not very clean very dated the rooms need updating if your used to 4* this isn’t it I would recommend booking else where. It says it has parking but the parking isn’t just for hotel guest and you can’t reserve so there is no guarantee that you will get parking. I booked this hotel as it said there was parking but when I got there the cr park was full as they had an event there and the event attendees took the parking so the hotel guest were unable to use. Overall terrible expense. I hear the parkgate is a better hotel

Clean and comfortable
Hotel is overall a very welcoming and comfortable place to stay. The room was clean and the bathroom was in good condition. The only let down was the curtains and a ‘knock’ on the wall which wasn’t repaired very well - the blackout curtains were coming off the curtain hooks and looking very shabby. The ‘knock’ was given a temporary fix of a clear plastic filler which was coming off and not very pleasant to see. The walls themselves were looking a little grubby and in need of a freshen up.

Standard room reasonable facilities. However, started on the wrong note when we arrived just after 2pm, were told our room was ready but if we wanted to check in there would be a £10 extra charge. Why? It didn’t cost the hotel anything to allow us to check in at that time as room was already ready. Put us off straight away before we even got into the room.

It’s quite a cold hotel and I was up on the 18th floor on my own which was a bit scary, also the lights only come on in the halls when you step in there.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel room service is very pppr quality £33+ for 5 pound bottle of wine dirt all around the room even when mobed to a different room same problem staff told me thats all they have. Tried getting a new hotel but not available so had to stay anyway but made sure we stayed out as long as possible to reduce the time we had to spend in room

Great hotel for city break
We stayed in a junior suite, the views alone were stunning. The suite was clean and staff were so helpful. Parking was good. Breakfast was very nice. The only observation would be that the seating in the bar area needs updating as the leather was broken in places but that is the only negative and did not affect our stay.

I had room 1902 large bedroom with sitting room lovely size but a little square and bland bed very comfortable and bathroom very nice only complaint shower over bath needs walk in can’t get in bath and ad a solo traveler don’t like sleeping into bath in case slip service at reception excellent and was given breakfast and complimentary lounge would have no problem staying there again
