The village of Sainte-Marie-du-Mont was the first to be liberated after the D-Day landings and it is a focal point of the liberation celebrations in June each year. The Utah landing beach is only 10 km away. You can also visit the fishing and sailing village of Saint-Vaast-la-Hougue, famous for its oysters. Your little ones are sure to love going oyster hunting at low tide between the mainland and Tatihou Island!

Gîte nécessitant des travaux car plusieurs points ne sont plus adaptés : La literie (matelas et sommier) du lit double est à changer La porte de la salle de bain ne ferme plus, porte complètement voilée Aucun volet ne peut être fermé. Ils sont cassés Un nuisible se balade dans les combles au dessus des deux chambres !!!! La cuisine du gîte est très sale Un seul luminaire sur les 4 des tables de chevêt fonctionne
