They were under repairs which they notified us of only a week before arrival. Room wifi was down all week. Neighbor noise was too much. Instructions on housekeeping were misleading as it did not include the hotel only the condominiums.

we had a room with a kitchen, but the refrigerator in it is very small, the pool is not as cool as described, very small, the jacuzzi is not hot but barely warm, the balcony in the room is connected to the neighbors and you can go to their room or they to our room! There was a restaurant nearby where they constantly shout. It was so loud that it was impossible to sleep.

Great hotel right on the beach. Walking distances to so many restaurants and shopping. If you like a hotel bar or restaurant, there isn’t one but right next door is both. I’d stay here again.

Carlsbad Inn is a beautiful location. The property itself seems to always be under construction but yet the rooms are mediocre at best. Our trip was interrupted at night by loud music outside nightly on the weekends. Rooms are thin walled with hotel side of things too. Staff is excellent and kind! If yoi dont mind noise and non working wifi and sometimes no ac. Its a go.

Be aware that the hotel rooms (that are not condos) look out to either the street or a tight walkway that faces the back of condominium buildings. Nice place otherwise.

Horrible service
We have stayed here in the past and it was great. This time however was horrible, we arrived early and asked for early check in (offering to pay) and they said no not a problem they would text us when the room was ready. At 4 a clock the entire lobby was full with mad guests and they had us all check in at once. Ridiculous, then the moment I checked in I got a text telling me how to clean up and leave. I will not be back and will be asking for some compensation

Only spent a night here, but staff were very friendly and professional. Room is a bit dated but bed was clean and comfortable. We didn't use the grounds or pool but it seemed very family friendly. Great views and very convenient location as well.
