Stayed for 4 nights at the carlsbad days inn. Property is conveniently situated near the freeway, however, this in turn, makes it quite noisy, all day long. The staff are really friendly, and the property/ rooms are clean and well maintained. The area felt safe and secure. Its only a 5 to 6 minute drive to carlsbad village. Dining estalishments are limited near the property, as are public transport facilities. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would like to say thankyou to all at the Carlsbad days inn.

If you need a relatively cheap, convenient and friendly place to stay in carlsbad, you cant go too wrong with this place. Only a minutes drive off the i5. Check in was simple, the room was roomy and clean. The noise from the freeway next to motel is quite loud, but is really cut down in the rooms. Limited dining out opportunities in local area, so bare that in mind. Only 5 mins drive into carlsbad village. Spent 4 nights at the days inn and was perfectly adequate.

Our rooms were not ready at check-in even though it was an hour past the time. It was ok as we went to dinner but we had wanted to refresh after a long drive first. Other than that the property was great for the price.
