Hallway smelled of urine or something. Original room I was to get had a jammed door: staff still wanted me to use this room despite it being a safety hazard. They did end up giving me another room after they couldn’t open the door to first room. This other room was okay. There was a dead bug in a corner and live ants in the room :/ not very clean overall and would never stay here again. Their pictures online and price point are deceiving leading you to believe you are staying in a nice hotel. Would NOT RECOMMEND.

Great stay
The staff is welcoming and has great customer service. The room was very well cleaned and the bed was comfortable. Loved the pillows. I also like how the blankets had some weight to them. It was quiet and relaxing. No issues at all!

Pleasantly surprised!
Pleasantly surprised. I've stayed here previously a couple of years ago and since it has been updated. The rooms were very cleaned...and SMELLED great! Service at the desk by the evening clerk was helpful and professional. Will certainly stay here again when business takes me to Artesia.

I really enjoyed our stay here. Well first let’s start with this, Artesia NM does not really have much to do or see. Hence the 2 stars for area around the property. However, when it comes to the staff, they were very accommodating and we had no issues with them. Other than the hallway carpet which smells like wet dog (probably because of guests not controlling their pets), the room was clean and fresh. My only gripe was missing breakfast this morning. We got in during the weekend so we were told breakfast was 7-10am. We assumed it was every day but it turns out during the week it ends at 9am. Even though it was posted up, maybe please let guests know. We sometimes do not read. I did get a courtesy late checkout and Bonnie was kind enough to print over 50 pages of work for me because they don’t have an office area. I actually just booked another night with them since I missed my flight.
