smoking room

I felt that when the heater was on , I coould smell a smoking smell which I know that it is hard to eliminate if someone had smoked in this room. It really bothers my allergies, so we slept without the heater on.

The front parking was dark and full. When I checked in the clerk said there was parking in the back. It was dark and creepy. As I got to my room I noticed they bed had hair on the bedspread and sheets. I check in with he desk and they moved me but the attitude was not friendly about it. Next room was better but the carpet was gross and had not been swept in a while. I also noticed that the employees lived in the hotel. I am sure that the good reviews online had to be made by the residents that lived there not all by travelers. None of them are true. This place was scary for a mother traveling. I don't recommend. I have never had an issue with Wyndham hotels before and have never had to give a negative review.

Great place to stay

Our room was very clean and was well pleased with it, however the tub was missing its handicap bar, so there was 2 holes in the tub, which eventually is going to cause a problem if not fixed. Other than that, great place to stay.

Make sure the toilet works :-)

The property is old and just didn't seem very clean. It's nice enough on the surface it's been repainted and those kind of things but the bed was very uncomfortable and it smelled musty. The real problem was the toilet did not work. It wasn't clogged, the water supply line was not delivering water to the tank so to flush the toilet we had to take water out of the tub to put in the tank. We did notify the property who stated she would tell the manager tomorrow. No apology, no offer to prorate the cost, nothing.
