I booked a room with a balcony. We were on the first floor, so it was really a patio. The door lock did not work properly and the door didn't open correctly. We alerted the front desk and they came and "fixed" the door. It was clear they just sprayed WD-40 in the track because for the rest of our stay, the room REEKED of oil. The hotel is old and run down and not clean. The surfaces are clean, but it's pretty obvious the rooms are never deep-cleaned. The couch was filthy, the mirrors were very smudged, the patio door was disgusting, the floor by the tub and behind the bathroom door was disgusting, the carpeting was stained, etc.

Very nice property. The only unfortunate thing was I was told the pool was heated, but since the pool is a continuous one from inside the building to outside the building and the nights are cooling down, the pool was not very warm. Otherwise, we had a very nice stay and recommend the hotel.

The hotel needs upgraded. Rooms have a very musty smell. Refrigerator was gross. The toilet had cracks in it. I called (on a Sunday) to see if I could have a late checkout and she rudely said “no, I’ve already exceeded my limit!” Will not be staying here again!

Room was fine for the purpose of our trip. However, the temperature was very hot and the air conditioning took a long time to cool the room and even still it didn’t cool the room entirely. It was a very stuffy night and it was very uncomfortable. The bed was hard, other than that was fine but at the end, the clerk would not print out a receipt showing our total bill, which I found odd.

There was some construction at the entrance and it was a little bit of navigating. But we figured it out. Great staff. Big, Clean room. Breakfast was delicious. We would stay here again.

Homewood Suites - Carmel Indiana
Our recent stay at the hotel left much to be desired. The room felt very outdated, with noticeable stains on the furniture that made it uninviting. It was clear that housekeeping had not taken the time or effort to properly clean, as there were areas that hadn't been vacuumed. Overall, we were disappointed with the condition of the room and expected a higher standard of cleanliness.

This is a very old and stained hotel! My room air ducts were BLACK with grime and filth! Couldn’t sleep horrible sneezing from carpet allergies. Filthy feeling! Plus, not only did hotel advertise FREE RECEPTION, so did YOU on your site! NOTHING no reception and front desk it’s only on WEDNESDAY! Unacceptable FALSE ADVERTISING! Very disappointed and angry that this “business” class hotel was NOTHING LIKE SHII OUT WED! Not worth the rate!

Breakfast was often cold and was closed early 2 of the days we were there. The water was shut off for a leak but we were never told. We found out about the water shutoff when attempting to shower. When asked the manager said a message was just being sent out to occupants -Never received a message. I will say the other manager Nick was very helpful with concerns and our stay. He was quick to respond and followed through with his word. Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Decor was out dated and aged.

Highly disappointed.
The pool was dirty so we couldnt swim. The water for the shower was lukewarm at best. The bed had some kind of lotion on the end of it. The tv swivel had a screw hanging out of the wall; we werent able to watch tv. Out of the ammenities, most we couldnt use!

Very nice choice. Sizable suite with all the perks. Walk in shower was great. Staff was helpful. Evening reception was a nice touch. Would stay here again!!
