We had a lovely weekend here. I thought the cabins were modern and the bed was comfy. Had everything you need for a weekend with kids, including hight chair and cot. Food in the restaurant was really nice

Great value
This was our 2nd stay at this resort and it probably won't be our last. It is great value, we had a studio lodge which gives so much more than a hotel room. A huge super king bed, dining table, mini kitchen and sofa. On the side of the lake it is very pretty for walking and watching the ducks. There is also crazy golf and childrens play area. There is a also an indoor swimming pool although it looked great, we didn't use . We ate in the restaurant twice, staff are friendly and the food enjoyable. Most nights there is also caberet entertainment in a separate room. Reception staff are also friendly and have a new text message system of keeping in touch.

Needs an update
After a few mix ups at check in, property we were finally given could do with an update. Curtains and blinds need replacing. Bathroom had a leak on floor and smelt damp. Whole property had a musty smell. Kitchen was clean and well stocked. Sofa was uncomfortable and needed a clean as did chairs and needs a general refresh. We stayed last year in a different property couldn’t fault it. Lovely site with great facilities, beautiful lake and scenery. Restaurant food is awful definitely wouldn’t recommend eating here

Lovely place to stay…only problem was one hour limit in swimming pool. My grandaughter was ill while we were there and the kitchen delivered food to our lodge ( even though it wasn’t a service normally offered)

Property location is very good. Restaurant opens only at 12pm no way to get any breakfast. Early morning gardeners are at working outside and making loud noise, cutting hedges and blowing all leave and making our car dirty.
