Decent but wouldn’t rent again
The location is the winner here. It’s half a mile from the boardwalk, an easy walk on the beach, and there’s a cute little mini mart/bodega 2 minutes away.
The house itself is a bit dated, and to be frank the owners seem cheap. We paid a BUNDLE for this, and while the pool and location are lovely, we had internet problems the entire time, the fridge water dispenser was clogged with mold and I feel strongly that the water filter in it has never been changed based on the flavor of the ice. We had to make our own beds when we got there, the only thing provided was watered down hand soap (we knew we had to bring toiletries obviously but most places at least have mini soap bars), we had to bring our own beach towels, they had a few extra blankets around, but not enough for the amount of people they claim to sleep. The upstairs air vents dripped condensation the entire time and there was mold around them, and the elevator is a terrifying death trap. We didn’t have a broom for a couple of days, but one was dropped off after I texted the manager, but no one told me it was coming.
There are multiple air mattresses provided but we didn’t try those. One of the “beds” in the living room is a rock hard ottoman that folds out and is half broken, we had to prop it up with a hard suitcase- thankfully a lightweight child was the only one using it.
Overall it’s decent, the beds were comfortable and it’s a great location, but not a place that’s worth the price they’re charging.
