Located just south of the Carolina Beach Boardwalk and a short stroll from the famous Ocean Grill Tiki Bar and Carolina Beach Greenway, this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo in the Salty Hammocks complex is in the perfect location to relax and unwind.

This unit is well appointed and meticulously maintained. The main bedroom, main deck, and living area all have views of the ocean and private pool! The main bedroom has a king bed and adjoining full bathroom complete with tub and shower. The second bedroom has a twin & full mattress bunk arrangement with its own private balcony for viewing sunsets.

The top floor offers excellent views! The ocean facing deck is larger than most condos and it is covered which is a rare find for top floor units. This is crucial after a hot day on the beach or when it is raining and you still want to sit outside and watch the waves.

The kitchen boasts ample counter space, microwave, Keurig Duo coffee maker and seating for 7. A third private balcony off the kitchen lets in more natural light. The kitchen opens up to the main living space so you are never far away from family and friends. The sofa in the main living space pulls out to a queen size bed to accommodate more guests.

The unit is well stocked with pantry/kitchen items, soaps, shampoos, starter pack of TP/paper towels, and plenty of other cool extras including beach gear (beach cart, 4 adult chairs, 2 kids chairs, beach canopy tent, body boards, paddle ball and bocce ball), Google Home Mini for music/questions/weather, smart TVs in every room w/ cable subscription/Spectrum App, white noise machines in both bedrooms, charging station for phones/ipads, books, DVDs, puzzles, board games, toys, coloring supplies and more!

*OCCUPANCY: Our property is great for families and small groups of responsible adults. Max occupancy is 6. We do not allow parties. We have neighbors who live in the facility and the expectation is that our renters will respect our place and our neighbors.

Great spot for a week at the beach or a weekend trip!
We loved this condo! We had 3 adults and 1 kid and the condo essentially is fully stocked. Beach toys for the kids and beach chairs for the adults. The condo was very clean and communication was top notch. They had laundry items, a charging station with different chargers, and shower/bathroom items. When flying in to town it’s always super nice finding a place that provides a few essentials. Definitely a place we’d come back to.

Perfect Beach Condo for Couple
We had a wonderful, but too brief stay at this lovely beach condo with lots of natural light. It was the perfect size for our couple’s weekend. The amenities and modern conveniences were true as listed. There was an air conditioner issue. However, with easy communication, and a quick response from Chad, the matter was satisfactorily resolved. What we loved most was the balcony ocean view, a sizeable pool, and the very short walk to Carolina Beach. Note this is a 3rd floor unit. But being fit seniors, we welcomed the exercise. Can’t wait to return.

Labor Day Experience
The location of the property is easily walk-able to the beach with exclusive access from property. I knew it was a 3rd floor rental, but there is another level for cars making it effectively 4th floor access. So be mindful with kids, luggage, etc, plan your day. Its not nearly walk-able to restaurants, stores, so you will have to drive but we came to relax and sit on the beach. Parking is challenging with tight spaces and limited spots. There is two door access to get inside the condo which really turned out nice; didn't have to bring keys to the beach- just use code. Having been at a few VRBOs, furniture was a little worn. Appliances were good. The main complaint I had was the cleanliness of the whole place. The sheets were not cleaned, hair on covers, etc. Management was easy to reach and pleasant at all hours. Sent someone to switch out all bedding. Doubt we would stay here again, but perhaps another property within company.

SO relaxing!
The condo is exactly as pictured. Clean and quiet! The porch/balcony is wonderful. We spent most mornings and evenings there. The beach was only a few steps away. There were plenty of beach items in the storage shed which was very convenient. The beds were comfortable and the sound machines in each bedroom was an added treat. There is no elevator on site but the top floor views were worth it. We had a much needed relaxing trip! We would definitely stay here again.

Great Place!
My wife and I stayed here for a week for our anniversary. It was in a perfect location and easy to get in and out of. The condo was clean and the hosts were very nice and responsive, and made checkin and checkout super easy. This was our first time using Vrbo to stay anywhere and they were so helpful with the process. The chairs left for the beach were awesome and we used them daily. The walk to the beach was easy and convenient, and the morning views were amazing! We would definitely stay here again in the future!

This was my first time at CB. The beaches were beautiful and the weather was great - except for one day! The condo was very clean and stocked well. The decor was well thought out during the renovation. The beds were comfortable. The condo is on top floor and does not have an elevator. I was ok with that; but if someone has mobility issues it may be a concern. Check in /out process was easy and very informative. The host was responsive. I’d love to stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Fall Break getaway with a little One Tree Hill tour
We enjoyed the stay here. Chad was very responsive and quick to answer questions. The place was easy to find, conveniently located and easy access to the beach. You have a great view of the beach and sunrise. We watched a ton of surfers and saw a dolphin or two. We did not realty cook at the place except breakfast the last day and some snacks but the amount of cooking supplies and dishes seemed plentiful. The beds were comfortable. The space was great for four people and could easily have had two more. The decor was nice. Parking was fine but during busy season it may be trickier to maneuver, but we did not have any trouble. Just a tight space. There is a small lot though so that helped. The stairs were not bad at all to get to the space. We would definitely stay here again. We would recommend it as well to others. Bonus, If you are a One Tree Hill fan looking for a place, you are very close to two major scenes filmed in the shows and can get pictures from afar only as some places are private property but it was cool being that close if you are a fan! It's an easy drive to get to Wilmington in which you pass other places used to film the show. Overall great town, great beach, great stay and great host! Thank you Chad!

Overall we give this property a 5 star rating. Very clean, nicely decorated with everything you need. The voice command (google) music/lights was a really nice touch. The hosts are super responsive which put us at ease in renting and throughout the process. Very quiet which is important to us. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels, even beach towels. Great view. Coffee and sunrise on the deck, one of the things I look forward to, did not disappoint. This unit is an easy walk to a lot of things. Try the Tiki Bar on the beach! We waited until Thursday and wondered why! Highly recommend. Pictures are an accurate representation. Thank you!

Excellent beachfront stay
We had an awesome stay here! The hosts were so helpful and timely with any questions. The condo is beautifully furnished with all the bath and beach extras that you don’t need to pack what you normally would. Parking was easy. The oceanfront view and access was as described, perfect! The location is great - quick walk or bike ride to the Carolina Boardwalk or south to the Kure Beach Pier area. Plenty of shopping and food options within walking or bike ride to avoid driving and paying for parking. Thursday night fireworks from the beach access was perfect for viewing. The condo community was quiet and friendly. We have absolutely no complaints and would definitely visit again!

Great Visit to Carolina Beach
The condo was represented well by the listing. The views of the beach from the bedroom and the deck were very nice. The condo had everything needed for cooking, entertainment, and visiting the beach. My daughter liked the white noise speaker and the board games. The location of the condo was convenient to Kure, Fort Fisher, Carolina Beach boardwalk and just a short drive from Wilmington. Covered parking was not difficult to find at the complex. The hosts were very helpful with checkin and any questions along the way.

The property was clean and stocked as stated in the description, and we were very comfortable. The beds were also very comfortable. In the future and as a consumer, I would be more attentive to reading all the reviews, and asking specific questions to verify and to make sure the VRBO is a good fit. For example, there was no elevator and 8 flights of stairs which was challenging when carrying luggage, groceries, etc. It would be extremely helpful to know this in the property description to be transparent. The building was in need of repair and the main entry way door lock was covered with masking tape. We could see the ocean from our balcony, but the view was partially obstructed by another building. Overall, very clean and stocked as stated in the description and the owner provided very detailed information/instructions about the property, but failed to mentioned other critical info such as no elevator. Unfortunately, we would not rebook due to the aforementioned issues.
