I was in a room with a king size bed with a friend. I asked for another set of towels. I was told that rooms with king size beds only get one set. I went higher and was told I could get another set but the cleaning ladies said no. They said it's against the policy. It does not make sense. Now there are two ladies telling me I can't get towels for the other person in my room even though the person at the front desk said yes. I got my towels but their policy didn't make sense and it's obvious that the towels were more important than the customer.
If I could rate this place a 0 it would be too high of a rating. We ended up checking out early and going across the street for the remainder of our say in Newman after a day and a half. The carpet was completely soaked from the refrigerator nearly to the door. The stool was barely bolted to the floor. Sink was all stopped up and they laid linoleum squares over tile that was completely broken loose resulting in me slipping and spranging my foot. What really put the icing on the cake is when we woke up and my 3 year old was completely cover in head to toe in bed bug bites! The lady at the front office was extremely rude. Claimed the bites couldn't have came from their establishment even after I took my son and captured one of the tiny red bugs in a cup up to the front office. Claimed it was impossible because they spray for them monthly.. we hadn't stayed in any other rooms before we stayed there on this trip and I certainly didn't bring them with me! I will be filing a lawsuit after this horrendous experience. She refused to move us to another room as well stating our current room was completely acceptable. We've been home nearly a week and my son still has bites that are slowly going away. (Pic of bites included) this place needs to be shut down!
This place was HORRIBLE. The first room literally smelled like cats has died in there recently. Overall cleanliness was very poor. Service was bad as well.
Awful experience this was by far the dirtiest hotel I've ever stayed at. Tub had dirt rings, poop on floor next to toilet, dirty towels one with lip stick on it. Sheets had stains and looked filthy. People hanging around outside watching you like they were waiting to rob someone. I'm a fairly seasoned traveler and have never seen anything like this. The blankets looked and felt like old thin curtains. I would not recommend staying here ever.
The stay was very nice. The lady in the office was very nice. The only problem is that the jets on the tub did not work on room 110. Other than that it was a great stay
It was the worst experience ever!! I didn't even stay at the hotel. I didn't feel safe, the neighborhood was horrible. Then you guys hotel.com wouldn't refund my money back!!! Or give me a new hotel. You have lost my business forever!!!
Paid for a king room and got a queen bed instead. The toilet wouldn't flush. Had to flush multiple times to get it. There was no remote control for the tv. Horrible experience.
It was awful. Two used Washcloths were left draped over the shower rod. The shower fixtures were falling off when I tried to turn it on. The TV was not up to par either. That hotel should be a $35 a night hotel only
They try to kick me out of the hotel in the middle of the night because the payment was not going through. This was a prepaid reservation and they were making a mistake trying to run the payment for the wrong amount. I requested to speak with the hotel owner and he didn't wanted to speak with me and they were just asking me for a credit card. They don't care about their guests, just their money.
The hotel needs some major upgrades. The furniture looks like it came from a second hand store. Although they had several rooms clean, I asked about an early check-in and the lady said you can check in 1 hour early. When I went to check out, I had a dead battery, so I went to the desk and asked the same lady if there was someone who could charge my car battery and she said no. Even though she had a car she was not willing to help me out. Horrible customer service.
Despite it being in bold lettering on the front page of their website, they do not give you a coupon for a free breakfast at McDonald's. There is cereal, but if there's no milk, too bad, because the desk clerk won't leave to go buy any. The room was smelly, right down to the pillows. The bathroom smelled like cat urine, so we didn't bother taking showers. The blankets had holes in them. The outlets were coming out of the walls. The door didn't close all the way at the bottom. It's just atrocious. Lousy excuse for a hotel. We got out of there as quickly as we could in the morning. Heed the warnings of reviews and don't waste your money on this place!
