This is the first Motel 6 we hav stayed in since the 1990s because they don't have the best reputation. But other than barking dogs at weird hours and a malfunctioning laundromat, the stay was juat fine. We were there for three nights and slept well each night. The big surprise was how good the coffee in the office was. We didn't have to drive somewhere else for our morning joe. Upon checkin our room was clean and smelled well. The bathroom was in good shape, no weird hairs were found and we had no problem receiving new towels. Don't hesitate staying here!

Good overnight stay for an early morning surgery. One doesn't go to a Motel 6 expecting a lot of amenities, and given that it's pretty basic, this is a fine Motel 6. My husband wouldn't believe that the room had a fridge and microwave until he saw them! Very clean; we appreciate the vinyl flooring (instead of uncleanable carpet). The bed was comfortable. Our room - upstairs at the back of the building - was very quiet. We noticed, but didn't try, laundry facilities and coffee in the lobby (can recommend Comma Coffee 1.4 miles north). Bring your own shampoo and an extra pillow. We like that pets are welcome and stay for free - if our dogsitter had been unavailable at the last minute, no worries.

The rooms were renovated and really nice. Pillow slightly flat, but we made due. The parking lot did have huge pot holes but everyone else’s reviews are so dramatic… you have enough space to drive around them lol. I love that they have the earliest check in I’ve ever experienced from a hotel. Downtown Carson was so close and tons of food and things you need nearby. Really nice drive getting here too.

Basic Motel 6 with clean room that was quiet despite being next to a busy street. Convenient for sightseeing in Virginia City and taking a Virginia and Truckee Railroad excursion.

We were in a double bed room, I'm sure the room was made as a one bed. It was so crowded for 2 people. also the air conditioner made so much noise , it was hard to sleep. The 2nd night , we opened the window so as not to use the air conditioner. There was no screen, and no one could get us one. I was very disappointed in the room, It was supposed to be a deluxe room, Now way was it. Maybe Motel 6 doesn't know what deluxe is. Sure wasn't worth the money it cost to stay there. And we won't be staying there again.
