The place was great, I would visit again if they take care of the ants, they were everywhere, in the beds, in the kitchen, everywhere. I did report it, and they gave me a can of spray that took care of the problem. Also it took them to long to change the bedding after I reported the ants, about six hours, I felt that was to long. Also we had to continue to spray on the visit once a day. In all fairness, I would stay again, the place is great, I would address the ant problem first. the place was clean, the communication was great, and the view was excellent.

The property aesthetic is beautiful! They have plants all over making it even more appealing. The staff was very friendly,the bartender at the rooftop made the BEST drinks. The pool and the rooftop views were amazing. Security guard Jose made us feel safe and provided great recommendations. The room was clean , there is an ant problem if you leave any food or sweets out so be careful leaving that out. The bathroom shower rainfall head does cause a lot of water spray but just keep your slippers out the way. AC worked great! The jacuzzi worked well! The food was also good. The room had towels , bath wash,shampoo,conditioner and hair dryer. I recommend you bring your wash rags. The room we had was beachfront and king size bed. Tv in room was also a plus ! It was like an apartment fully furnished with great fridge and cooking equipment. I recommend this place & would re book. 15 mins away from Getsemaní but you can Uber for very cheap .

The whole place is beautiful, and it is right on the beach. There is a cute bakery at the entrance, and a rooftop pool/bar. Everyone who works here was friendly, and they were very helpful. An amazing stay!

The stay was pleasant. accommodation for room change was smooth. there were complaints of water overflow in the shower, and no one came to clean up. Towels were asked and took two hours to receive them. noisy pipes through the walls as if water was leaking

Hi Gentle Readers, Neiger, Daniella and Aura made my whole trip feel like home at the Bondo Estudio in Cartagena. Though there were unfortunate circumstances with a couple rotten eggs who attack the one who stands out in a crowd for money as an effeminate light skinned male When I went back to the hotel visibly shaken and teary eyed I felt safe again. Neiger called over the manager who offered to buy me whatever I wanted from the small restaurant in the hotel. I denied and just wanted to be in my room. Five minutes later, I had a hotel staff knock on my door with a cup of tea. This meant everything. The Bondo Estudio hotel may not be one of the most high end posh hotels to stay in Cartagena, but hell after talking to my friends who stayed at the most expensive places in the area, they made a poor decision. Over-priced and no sense of support in an unfamiliar country. If you want to live a life in an all-inclusice resort without feeling the culture of the country, Disney World or a cruise ship is your best option. At Bondo I felt at home, safe and loved. Bondo Estudio is the place to go if travelling to Cartagena. No area is safe neccessarily, but you will in this hotel. Pool is pretty kick ass too:) Enjoy your stay at the Bondo Estudio. Completely worth every penny and you will walk out with a smile and a tear when leaving in saying goodbye to the staff;) (Seriously ya'll, I have not been asked to promote this place but will say it was incredible)

The room and bed were very comfortable and clean. There is not much in the way of restaurants nearby, but you can grab a few items from the little grocery store down the road. The pool and rooftop bar are fantastic! I flew into Cartagena on Thursday and took a taxi to BONDO hotel at 4 pm. It cost me 16,100 pesos. This morning I asked the girl at ‘reception’ if she could get me a taxi to return to the same airport for my flight home. This taxi tried to charge me $25,000 pesos and there was less traffic (11 am) and a quicker ride in. I challenged him on this price and ended up paying 20,000 pesos. I think hotel management might want to discuss this with staff. Tourists won’t come back if they are being ripped off and the hotel will get a bad reputation. I hope this is not a case where the staff member is taking kickbacks. I have friends still at the hotel and they all know about this. Thank you.

Overall a great option. Modern, clean. Beach across the street. Quick and cheap Uber to Old Walled City and Gethsemani. Minutes from the airport. Restaurant on site for breakfast. Rooftop pool and bar was awesome! The apartment style spaces are perfect for families and longer stays. One suggestion: they need better showerheads. The rainfall heads just don’t work well with the open style shower stalls. Water sprays all over the bathroom. Otherwise, Bondo is a great GREAT option for a vacation in Cartagena. I would stay there again.

I really enjoyed the property being near everything for tourist. It wasn’t pricey at all, very vintage. I was surprised at the no face towels coming from America so if you’re reading this please bring your own! Other than that, no complaints.

First the chose a room where the water tubes were exposed and was able to hear the water running from them, then they changed me to a normal one, then after having paid and extension of my booking, they knocked on my door asking if I was going to stay when I had paid for it and confirm via text.
