10 minutes from city
Only positive thing about our stay in this hotel was the service we got while they were serving breakfast. Breakfast menu only have like five options to choose from. Besides that hotel was not well maintain. Every time my wife and I were going to take a shower we have to call reception for them to turn hot water on. Staff are not friendly. Will not recommend this hotel to no one that wants to visit Cartagena.

Great place to relax
Nice hotel, really enjoyed the relaxing vibe of the hotel. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Do be careful on the beach, particularly if you’re alone, but that has nothing to do with the hotel, just the location.

This hotel is a must from service to staff members to nightly rate to gourmet meals. Extremely modern, great amenities, right on the beach, gourmet breakfast, lunch and dinner... suite is superb (you even have your own massage table in your own ginourmous bathroom... absolutely loved this place to the point i extended my stay in Cartagena and stayed an additional 4 nights.

This place is absolutely a must, everything was outstanding... from its main entrance (great taste in decor and upgrades), service (front desk, housekeeping, servers....), hotel condition and upkeeping (outstanding)... the food is simply delicious and fairly affordable. We loved our experience and extended our stay for an extra 4 nights at the suite 2. Fantabulous

Very nice and clean hotel!
We had a great time. The hotel and the room were very clean. With the "standard room" package we were placed in a room that had no exterior windows, were below the stairs that lead you to the second floor, and were right next to the bar and kitchen. Everyone was very nice and helpful. They helped us book excursions, gave us helpful suggestions and recommendations. We would stay there again, but not book the standard room.

Its a very comfortable place in front of the beach. The hotel is a very nice place to stay, attention personalised, privacity, not crowded, excellent location.

Friendly Staff and Convenient Location
The staff is awesome, they go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. They handle everything from tours to cab rides, lining up massages etc. They seem to know everyone they set you up with and make sure there isn't any funny business. I can't tell you how impressed I was with the service. It was less than 10 min. to the airport and the Old City and a $3-$5 American Cab ride. Direct access to the beach and jet ski/jet board rental on site. You can walk next door to the Raddison for a great massage which ran about $45. American for a massage. The downside is the overall maintenance of the place, it just seems like they have let it go a bit. A door handle would fall off or water would be leaking into the room through a door jam etc. Nothing unbearable by any means just a little irritating.

Lovely rooms and cosy beach hotel
The staff were very friendly and professional, the breakfast was good quality. The hotel is very close to the amazing walled city and airport. We thoroughly enjoy the beach with its warm water and clean sand, despite the occassional hassle from beach vendors.

Ok hotel on the beach
Hotel was ok, disappointing to realise that you needed to have a suite to get hot water as standard!!! Nowhere was this info included on Expedia when we booked. When we called to confirm the booking we were told they were fully booked the first night and would be sent elsewhere. Not a good start! Nor were we notified of this by Expedia or the hotel. Food was average (only ate breakfast and lunch there, service pretty slow). About 15/20 min cab ride to the old town, which I wouldn't recommend if you're travelling on your own.
