San Cipriano is a complete and individual apartment in a charming country house. The San Cipriano cottage has it´s own access and private fenced grounds. The house is completely private, set on its own very large plot of over 7 acres of land with a small stream and enjoys lovely views. The property is ideally located to explore the breathtaking natural beauty of the Northern Spain and its spectacular coast. This house provides an increasingly rare opportunity to experience unspoilt rural Spain. Very dated
A mouldy smell is the first impression (couch especially). Lack of adequate kitchen equipment, (not one sharp knife).Washing machine door faulty. No way to dry clothes if raining. Noise from adjoining rental, walls obviously too thin. Accomodation needs total refurbishment. Covered outside areas totally useless as rain ingress was extensive.

Perfect slice of tranquil green Spain
Absolutely loved our stay at Judith’s. Wonderful location, the outside space and surrounding area is just beautiful and the swimming pool is a great bonus! Judith is a super host, really kind and helpful - Leo loved the bouncy ball and sneaked it off with us when we left!!

The property was a perfect size for our family
The property is well away from any traffuc and has wonderful views of the surrounding hills and trees. There is a lovely outdoor area, where enjoyed evening games wjth our family. There are no shops nearby, so ensure you have what you need. Inside is quite basic from a furniture point of view, but all cooking things you need, and a good shower. We would stay again.

Beautiful blissful stay
Fantastic location for Cantabria and Asturias's national parks, coast and mountains. Well equipped cosy, comfortable holiday let with stunning views. Tucked away in a peaceful, secluded valley surrounded by beautiful countryside but close enough to local amenities for food shopping and Autovia for sightseeing and daytrips. A private wing of their beautiful homestead complete with sheep and chickens, Judith and Martin couldn't do enough to make us feel comfortable. Thanks for the Lego for our four year old. Great for kids ( big field to run around in and pool (in season) Very memorable and happy family stay.

Wonderful location
Pros: amazing rural setting, complete with cows, sheep, donkeys and chickens. The owner was efficient and responsive throughout. She very kindly made a phone call for us as our Spanish was not good enough. A good center from which to see many wonderful sites. Small but adequate kitchen, ditto bathroom. Comfortable beds. Cons: very steep, narrow stairs to bedrooms - would not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The rental shares paper-thin walls with the owners and another rental unit - which meant that we were at the mercy of their schedules and habits, although this was apparently not an issue for previous reviewers.

Quiet retreat in the mountains
Comfortable villa with beautiful views of the mountains around. Eagles flying overhead, yet still quick to get into Torrelavega for supermarkets etc. and less than 30 minutes to beautiful sandy beaches (Oyambre was our favourite). Good for surfing, hiking and cycling (if you like cycling on very hilly roads!). Great welcoming hosts, always there if you need them but not intrusive. The villa sits within several acres of land with a few sheep and horses around to keep the grass down - the kids loved feeding them. There's even some woods accessible just across the lower field if you want to explore further.

Countryside paradise & relaxing rejuvenation
We were so very happy to call San Cipriano 'home' for 5 nights. Far too short of you ask me! Judith was an exceptional host! We actually contacted her a few days before our arranged stay and asked if we could come a day early. She was more than hospitable! Her family lives on property so it was easy to stay in communication if needed. Despite that, it still feel private and secluded. The place was fully equipped and very comfortable! The pool was a great touch! Sheep, horses and chickens made the stay even more homey.

Beautiful, cosy well equipped cottage in a fabulous location
The cottage is lovely. It has absolutely everything you could possibly need. The outside space is wonderful. We also found the location perfect for our needs and only around 20-30 minutes' drive from some amazing beaches. Judith, the owner, is very helpful and welcoming but also gives you complete privacy. We will definitely be returning.

A lovely place to get away from it all!
This is a quaint cottage in a very pretty and peaceful setting with birdsong and flowers through the meadow. It is well equipped and Judith is very helpful. There is a terrace under cover which we used as the weather was changeable. We enjoyed trips to the Altemira caves , Comillas and Santillana. Del Mar and the beach close to San Vincente ( Oyambre). You will need a car to get around but the upside tis the wildlife, I saw a wild boar crossing the road!

Really delightful setting and a lovely experience!
We are a couple with two young boys, we hired a car from the airport and stayed in the cottage for 5 nights. The holiday was a great success for the many different things to do and see in the surrounding area – but at the root of having a great time is the place you stay, and this cottage was fabulous for the tranquility and picture perfect location. It’s beautiful outside, but the inside is also good with nothing wanting for guests. Judith is very nice and welcoming. Leaving freshly laid eggs at the door one morning was a really thoughtful touch, as was bringing out a trampoline for the kids to play on. We all highly recommend Judith’s place in Cantabria.

Ankommen - durchatmen - sich wohlfühlen
Die Fotos und Beschreibungen haben sich mehr als bestätigt. Das Cottage bietet Ruhe und einen wunderschönen Ausblick. Im Garten gibt es viele schöne Plätzchen, an denen man sich gerne aufhält. Vorallem Kinder haben viele Möglichkeiten, sich zu beschäftigen und zu bewegen. Die Wohnung ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und hat eine gemütliche Atmosphäre. Sehr genossen haben wir die große überdachte Terrasse, auf der man sich auch bei Regenwetter geschützt aufhalten kann. In der näheren Umgebung konnten wir mit dem Auto schöne Ausflüge machen: Strände, hübsche Orte und Städtchen und Wandermöglichkeiten waren gut zu erreichen. Wir finden, dass es ein Urlaubsort ist, von dem man ungern wieder fort fährt und gerne wieder hinfährt. Danke für die schöne Zeit.

If you want a peaceful well appointed hideaway which is also in easy reach of a rich variety of beaches, mountains, and larger places, then this is it. Judith and Martin are the perfect hosts, welcoming, helpful, and discreet. Another time we will have our grown up families with us.

Great place to relax
The surrounding countryside is beautiful with views of distant mountains and forested valleys and hills. Very quiet and peaceful, which is ideal if you want to escape the hustle and bustle and chill out for a while. There are many local walks into the hills if you're feeling energetic. Torrelavega is only a ten minute drive away if you want shops, bars and a more hectic day. You can be in the stunning Picos De Europa region in about an hour by car or on the northern coast where you can find many spectacular beaches and cliff top walks in about 30 minutes. Martin and Judith, the owners, are very friendly and helpful. The apartment is compact and cosy with everything you need.

A great time
We had a fantastic time at the cottage. Judith made us feel very welcomed and was available for all our needs. We explored the surrounding hills finding lots of good tracks everywhere with stunning views. The location of the cottage made trips along the coast very easy and we visited some great town and beaches. The cottage was beautifully designed with old furniture and modern facilities and has a very large space outside for barbecue and outside eating. We were soo glad we had found this place and will visit again for sure.

Peaceful Location
The accommodation was clean and tidy and functional, and the peaceful location was wonderful. I had hoped that we would have been able to use the outside space more than we did due to the inclement weather, but we did have restful and pleasant stay. Judith, the owner was very welcoming and kind and was very respectful of our privacy. Unusually there was very little written information at the property about local amenities so we may have missed out. We loved the area and had a lovely holiday, thanks.

Fantastic !
We had a fantastic stay in this property. The owner is friendly, helpful and on hand for advise if needed. The location is ideal and allows you to explore the wonderful northern regions of Spain. The house is well decorated and has all you need for a relaxing holiday. We would love to return in the future to see even more of this part of Spain. You will need a car to make the most of stay.

Schönes Apartment in toller Umgebung

Un magnifique logement, décoré avec goût, fonctionnel et très bien équipé. On s'y sent tout de suite à l'aise.
