The bathrooms are old and outdated. The shower is like a black hole. There is a reason there are no pictures of the bathrooms on the website. Booked a one bedroom suite expecting to have a door to close, no it was wide open to the rest of the room. Windows are all single pane and do not block out noise.

Monterey is pricey for accommodations and the Travelodge was fine for a quick overnight. I did think the Travelodge would be nicer but it was adequate for a quick stopover with kids. The place is old and needs a renovation but it was. 1-2 star. Front desk were great and very helpful. The location was great if you have a car and want to visit 17 mile, downtown Monterey and Carmel.

When I booked this property online, I paid $35 per night extra for the included breakfast. Upon arrival the desk clerk said they have not served breakfast in well over a year. I did not get a refund from the hotel or from Expedia. The ad still stands online! False advertising!

We were greeted by a wonderful gentleman at the front desk. Ricardo was his name. Gave us great tips about the area and made us feel absolutely welcome. Room was nice and perfect for our stay.enjoyed the stay completely.

The hotel is older as is the majority in the area. The door to the room was not very inviting, looked like a door to a jail or psych facility but the room when you were inside was spacious, clean and quite nice. The staff was very friendly despite being understaffed and having to do many things at once. I would stay there again.

If you only need to sleep 5 hrs from 12am-5 am then you are good. Planes fly all day from 5am- midnight and it shakes the room. Front desk very friendly and the room was nice but not worth the money

For an older Motel, the beds were Fantastic and after opting to stay another night, I decided to return to the Travelodge and get my former room, unit 207's bed was so nice.
