Lovely quiet hotel down a side street, just over 10 minutes walk from the train station.
Friendly staff, large comfortable room, nice pool, on-site bar too
Great hotel and restaurant at a reasonable price. Walking distance from the Royal Palace. Excellent staff. Worth mentioning they make an outstanding pizza.

My friend and I and her two year old daughter booked this hotel for mid June because it had a nice looking pool and it looked like a relaxing place to stay to relax. But we found out (on the second day at the hotel through another guest, not even at check in) that the pool doesn’t open until July and that we were not allowed to use it. In addition it was 30 degrees Celsius and none of the air conditioners in the entire hotel were working. I looked back at the reviews and saw that a year ago the same issue was happening, so it looks to me like the excuse of them transitioning to a new aircon system was a lie. We were told we would receive fans for our room which were not given to us until the last night of our stay. As you can imagine this was not at all a relaxing trip, and I truly regret booking this hotel. One plus I will say is that the waitress we had at dinner was absolutely fantastic.
The rooms are outdated and air conditioning seems to not exist. Hotel pool and grounds are pretty. Hotel is hard to find. Breakfast is fine . Beds are terrible as well as the front end service. Look for other places in Caserta or just pass on Caserta as a whole.
The place was conveniently located, near the center's buzz, but far enough to be quiet and calm.
The room was small but comfortable. Breakfast was basic, scrambled eggs, ham, cheese and pastries. Coffee was great.
The pool was only available for limited use due to a private party, but still nice.
Felt safe for a solo traveler and convenient for a quick trip.
This is a great hotel in terms of rooms and food quality in the on site restaurant. The only issue was the comfort level of the fold out bed which could have been better. The hotel is gated in the middle of a mixed residential/commercial area. The surrounding local area on approach is run down but the hotel itself is very good.
The hotel itself was gorgeous, a tucked away gem in Caserta. We used it as a hub since it was located close to many of the surrounding areas we intended to go and visit. The staff were very friendly and helpful but we didn’t receive any perk for VIP access. The room was large and comfortable but heads-up to any person above 5 10 the shower is quite small not sure if all the rooms are like that or if it was just ours. The restaurant was very delicious we ate there a couple of nights since there was only a few close places to go walk to at night. The breakfast served was plentiful and lots to pick from and we didn’t get to enjoy the pool since it opens in July but the grounds were nice and parking garage is located under the grounds which is great.
Fabulous place. Neighbourhood is adequate but in no way reflects on the VMC, which is a haven and a marvelous refuge in Caserta. Room lovely with every possible need anticipated. Pool and grounds just gorgeous and immaculate.
Such friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was great. Hotel was exceptionally clean. In easy walking distance from the royal palace and old town.
Hotel was a little hard to find but we worked it out with help if GPS.
I highly recommend Villa Cristina!
The property is very difficult to locate at night. It is in a side street, and there is another property at the other end of the long street with the same number. The only sign in the street indicating the hotel is up the side street is not lit at night and we had to call the hotel to locate it after driving down the street twice and not seeing the sign.
We wanted to visit the wonderful Bomarzo (Monster) Garden and the Palazzo Farnese so we chose a good small hotel near Viterbo. The hotel was lovely and our room was also very nice. (But beware the inside of the handles on the small shower.) There was a small table and chairs outside our room and seating around a nice pool. Breakfast was good too. They are opening a restaurant there shortly. The manager was superb! We had 2 flight delays and drove in the dark (including over a short dirt road) at 10 pm, exhausted. We asked Christiano if there was a restaurant nearby that was still open as we hadn't had dinner. He called in our orders for pizza, then drove to pick them up for us as we settled in our very pleasant rooms!!! He set up a table for us to eat together. The next day he drove into the town so we could follow him to where parking was for the restaurant we chose! He also called our next hotel to verify our reservation, as 1 hotel had cancelled on us. He was very eager to help in all ways, and always so friendly. Would I stay there again? Absolutely! Highest recommendation!
