The Tree House serves as the main gathering area on the property when you need to get indoors. With an open kitchen area and large deck to gather in. The Tree House features 2 gorgeous bedrooms with a total of 3 queen beds. The bedrooms all boast comfortable beds and luxurious linens, offering quality relaxation after a long day of exploring the trails and waterfalls. There are 2 full baths, and out back you find a fire pit area that offers total privacy. TV and DVD Player in the living room.

The Coffee Lounge was designed by coffee lovers for coffee lovers and it is the perfect place to plan your day and talk about the next adventure. Sitting below The Tree House this separate living area gives a couple privacy from the larger group with a Queen Bed bedroom and full bathroom. You will love the massive deck perfect for everyone to gather together.

The Lover’s Retreat is a 1 bed, 1 bath bright, romantic cabin with open views of the property and pond. Two screened in porches and one sunning porch offer sumptuous lounging for coffee and wine, and the clawfoot tub will soak away your day in luxury. This cabin has a large kitchen, beautiful queen bed and a comfy couch for reading, movie watching, or just snuggling while you watch the birds play outside.

Recently re-designed the Bunkhouse has 2 sets of twin over twin bunk beds, 3 twin beds in the fun loft area, and the love seat folds out to a twin bed. Play a round of Golf on Golden Tee and on the wall you will see a TV and Nintendo Switch mounted and pre-loaded with Mario Kart, Smash Bros, and more.

Totally unique and feature-filled! Imagine having everything you want to see and do in Western NC and having it ALL TO YOURSELF! Set on an amazing piece of mountain property with two ponds, wild fruits, a spring, open space to play barefoot & hillside tree spaces to relax.

On top of being its own destination, this property gives you private access to the highest density of waterfalls, trails, fly-fishing, tubing, hiking, swimming and exploring in all of Western NC, on 100's of acres of Nantahala National Forest, which is accessed just one mile from the front door. (w/ private parking) Imagine having the best hiking destinations in Western NC all to yourself, even in peak season. There is simply no other property in the Blue Ridge Mountains that offers a private fantasy playland like this. The access point for the trails is 1 mile down the gravel road from the cabins, and there is parking at the trailhead, so our guests never have to deal with crowds or travel to experience what others have to hike miles to get to. With 7 named falls and a ton of fishing (stocked with Brown & Rainbow trout annually), tubing and swimming holes, it seems too good to be true, but it's real. We searched for years to find this Unicorn, finally did, and now love sharing it with our guests.

Note: ALL the river and falls pictures shown, are part of what is available to our guests, and NOT taken at any public destinations. This is the best kept secret in the Smokies, and all locations shown are less than a one mile hike!

Just 6 miles from downtown Cashiers, you are right in the middle of the best hiking, dining, shopping, golf and other activities that Western North Carolina has to offer. You can also go any direction from the property, and be at gorgeous public waterfalls in less than 3 miles, or you can just sit on any one of 7 porches and take in the incredible views from the cabins, go tubing in the large spring-fed pond, and enjoy private access to some of the most beautiful water adventures in all of Western NC. When it's crowded at other falls, you'll be playing in your own private heaven!

Guest access:
The entire 8 acre property is yours, and we only rent to one group of guests at a time. On the private trails, we are one of only 6 property owners with access to that huge section of Nantahala National Forest, and all other owners are retirees or weekenders, so you'll rarely see anyone else on the private trails and river stretches.

Other things to note:
Please note access to private trails are 1 mile down the road in the Nantahala National Forest.

Please note that Wi-fi does not reach the kids bunkhouse but there is still plenty of entertainment for them in there.
