The estate where the Agriturismo Sant'Agostino is located, is located on the slopes of a small hill in the Maremma hinterland, from which dominates the countryside surrounding the small village of Montenero d'orcia, those who have admired the surrounding landscape from its summit, they speak of it as "a terrace of Tuscany".
This village has been lived by a splendid community, still capable of living in harmony and in an intimate relationship with the earth, its products and its unchanging rhythms for centuries.
In summer the climate is temperate dry and windy, with scarce thunderstorms. The landscape takes on a strong yellow color thanks to the wheat fields, damped by the woods of dark green and black Mediterranean scrub, and by the cypresses that stand out in more points of the area.
