Lovely stay!
The villa was incredible, and allowed our entire family to stay together. The grounds and pool were breath-taking and complete with a hammock, barbecue, outdoor games and toys, and lots of sitting areas. Large tables indoors and out provided space for meals and games. The location was perfect for exploring nearby towns, beaches, and trails by car or bicycle. I just can’t say enough about the facilities or about the prompt and cheerful responses from the owner/his representative when we called on them. I think this was our best family vacation ever.

Great stay in Maremma
We enjoyed our stay at Villa Maremma very much. The location near the sea is what drew us to it but we were happy to discover an area of Tuscany that was new to us. Thanks to Italo and Chiara for being great hosts.

Exceeded Expectations!
Villa was absolutely fabulous! The property and location was delightful and to hear the church bells from the hilltop of Buriano was amazing. Eating dinners on the terrace with family and swimming in the pool were everlasting memories for us all. The views were spectacular. The property owner and assistant were extremely gracious, friendly and available at a moments notice, should we need anything and we were personally welcomed with lovely gifts of wine and their very own olive oil made from the olives on property. We felt completely at home and will miss the villa very much!

Beautiful villa in an idyllic setting
Italo and Chiara could not have been more welcoming to our family group. Villa Maremma is outstanding, we were a group of 8 adults and 3 children and we fitted in the large house and the smaller house below. The villa is very well equipped to cook in and eating on the outdoor terrace in the evenings was magical. Lots of outdoor space, separate areas for the children, toys, table football and table tennis. These made all the difference in keeping them entertained and of course the lovely saltwater pool. Lots of thoughtful touches...coffee pods for the coffee machine, ice in the freezer, olive oil and wine awaiting us. Italo also brought some fantastic fruit and veg and peaches from his land for us to enjoy. We did many day trips from the villa and spent the late afternoons by the pool...wonderful stay in a beautiful villa. The working farms around the area and the happy mooing cows added to our Tuscan experience. We highly recommend staying here.

Fantastic venue for a family holiday
We can wholeheartedly and unreservedly recommend this villa and the owner. We cannot fault it. From booking to leaving was a pleasurable experience, any queries were quickly addressed. There is ample room and more for a large family gathering that catered well for all ages from 1 to 70+. The facilities are superb ranging from a bread/pizza oven in the kitchen to games and activities around the pool including a table tennis table. There are extensive grounds to walk in and enjoy. Each day the swimming pool was cleaned early along with the patio areas. We loved being able to pick fresh figs and herbs each day though sadly we were a little early for pomegranates. We were surprised by the owner delivering fresh pastries one morning as well as some bottles of delicious local wine. The area is lovely and the only slight disappointment was that there was no bakery or village store within walking distance.

Absolutely Amazing
We spent a really nice vacation in this magnificient villa which is located in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. The property is absolutely amazing - I do not even know where to begin and my humble review probably won't do justice. Anyhow, the owner Italo and his assistant Chiara were very nice and attentive to our needs. They helped us made restaurant reservations which was great and when the oven stopped working, Italo and a repairman showed up within a few hours - awesome. 100% recommendation.

Wonderful villa with fantastic surroundings and perfect service
We had a lovely time, spending a week in this wonderful house. Everything one might need for a relaxing and comfortable stay is provided here. The house is beautiful and fully equipped with a big kitchen and many bedrooms. The outside with the garden and pool is stunning, and we spent every night enjoying our dinner on the terrace. The views over the valley and the hills beyond are absolutely spectacular. Italo provided us with perfect service, starting with a fridge stocked with drinks and snacks. He even brought us a lovely cake to enjoy on our last night. When we ha a minor problem with the fridge, he was there to fix it within half an hour. We could not have been happier, and hope to go back again soon.

Perfect location, excellent facilities beyond expectations and very obliging host
The villa is a unique place to stay, beautifully presented, with everything you need to enjoy a perfect holiday. We cannot say enough about Italo, he treated us like royalty, and his villa is fantastic. Wonderfully presented and all your needs are catered for. Beautiful swimming pool, not chlorinated, and cleaned everyday by a very respectful gardener. Very sad to leave at the end of our first family holiday in Tuscany. If you want a beautiful location and live in a palace come and enjoy... We hope to return again in the future.

Beyond Expectations
Italo and Paola welcomed us and the dogs to the villa, after a quick tour we were left to explore the 2 acres of olive groves, the separate apartment and the villa itself, beyond expections explains exactly how we felt. As the holiday went on the swimming pool was used, the dogs made friends with the lovely gardner and we relaxed and felt right at home, Italo shared the details of his vet for the dogs who turned out to be another gem. I would without hesitation recommend this villa to friends and colleagues. A huge thank you to Italo and Paola.

Very special family holiday
We especially enjoyed the very well maintained, extensive and secure grounds of this lovely home-from-home, where the children could roam and explore safely and the adults could enjoy the views. The house was comfortable and well-equipped. As we were three generations of the same family, the split accommodation (main house and dependance) suited us very well. Almost everything one could want was to be found, including toys for the children and kitchen equipment and consumables one would not usually expect. There were a few notable exceptions, eg no kettle, but when this was mentioned one was quickly provided. The few problems we encountered were dealt with very promptly by the owner. The gifts of local wine, olive oil and home-grown fruit and vegetables were much appreciated as was having herbs, chillis and seasonal fruits available in the garden. All in all we had a lovely holiday and were very pleased with our choice of villa. I just wish I could speak Italian!

Schön, aber Mäuse
Es war schön. Die alleinige Lage, das große Geländer, aber leider nicht so sauber und auch Mäuse jeden Morgen 2-3 Stück. Italo war sehr hilfsbereit und hat die Fallen aufgestellt, aber für mich geht das trotzdem nicht. Unsere Männer mussten jeden Morgen die toten Mäuse entsorgen. Ecklig.Für den Preis haben wir etwas mehr erwartet: Duschvorhänge schimmelig, Tischdecken nicht sauber.

Ein Wohlfühl-Ort
Das Haus und der parkähnliche Garten bieten alles, was man sich wünschen kann: Außen große Flächen, mehrere Sitzplätze, schönes Schwimmbad, und alles wird jeden Morgen gereinigt. Innen viel Platz und eine vollständige Ausstattung, insbesondere in der Küche mit Kaffee, Öl, Gewürzen usw. Italo ist ein aufmerksamer und rücksichtsvoller Gastgeber, man wird mit Sekt, Wein und Kuchen begrüßt, Sonderwünsche erfüllt er umgehend. Der Standort ist bestens geeignet für Unternehmungen in der Maremma und darüber hinaus.

Perfekter Urlaub
Die Villa Maremma war einfach Perfekt. Die grosse Küche, die Schlafzimmer, die Badezimmer so wie auch der Aussenbereich waren tadellos. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Auch für die Kinder war es unvergesslich. Chiara und Italo haben sich Liebevoll um uns gekümmert. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit.
